Confident + Professional ROTA NCS Needed To Join Private Bay Area Family Team

This dynamic, close-knit CA-based family is seeking a rotational NCS team to join them in caring for their baby, due in mid-March 2025!
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Ages of children: Baby is due in March 2025!
- Contract Length: 6, 12, or 18-month contract term options with the possibility to extend for the perfect long-term fit!
- Schedule: Full-time rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/off with 24/7 care while on duty.
- Fly-in/Fly-out: The family is open to candidates flying in and out for their rotations.
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate [$45-60/hour] equivalent to $20k-28k/month based on 24/7 care and the rotational schedule. The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing a robust company-sponsored benefits plan including medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off, paid and floating holidays, sick leave, and transportation arrangements or a vehicle for professional use. The family may be open to considering relocation and/or housing assistance on a case-by-case basis.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-in on rotation. The family is happy to provide a private bedroom and bathroom in their home, and a bed in the baby’s nursery will be provided for overnight shifts.
- Other notes: While not a requirement for the NCS contract, the family would love to meet candidates who may be interested in transitioning into a long-term ROTA nanny position.

The family appreciates candidates who are detail-oriented in tracking feeding and sleeping schedules and can demonstrate open and respectful communication while working on a collaborative team. - Responsibilities include creating a nurturing and safe environment for the newborn to thrive and other child-related tasks, including establishing healthy foundations for sleep and feeding routines, prepping and sanitizing bottles, baby’s laundry, tidying the nursery, traveling with the family on occasion, introducing solids, and generally bringing a supportive, team-minded, all-hands-on-deck attitude.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant professional experience (as a newborn care specialist, night nanny, doula, or nanny)
- Experience working as a newborn care specialist and/or doula with at least 5 families
- Knowledge of every aspect of newborn care, including professional and working knowledge of feeding, bathing, and dressing infants, and preparing, cleaning and sanitizing bottles
- Experience and knowledge surrounding sleep conditioning, establishing routines, feeding routines, and developmental milestones
- Newborn care specialist training, preferably through Newborn Care Solutions or another CACHE-accredited program
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the day
- Valid passport and driver’s license
- Experience traveling with families and children
- Experience working with household staff
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
- Infant CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience in maintaining confidentiality for the safety and security of the family
