Thank you Shenandoah and Reagan for making Nanny Camp the most inclusive, supportive, and safe space I’ve ever experienced, even with in the caregiving industry. I’ve never felt more encouraged to show up as myself amongst so many. Thank you for allowing me to make genuine connections while comfortably maintaining my needs and abilities.

It was a great space for reset from the job we do. We had time for ourselves.

Nanny camp happened to fall during a stressful time in my personal life... and I could not have asked for a more warm, supportive, and welcoming environment to get away to for a few days amidst it all. It was an emotional reset, a reminder of how passionate we all are about the work we do, and just such a gift.

Nanny Camp is the best kind of MAGIC! I met new friends, learned new skills, enjoyed nature, laughed and cried, and left the weekend with my heart FULL to the brim! I can’t wait to attend next year.

I am so so so overjoyed about camp. It exceeded every expectation I had. People found their niche, in a warm welcoming environment that made space for everyone. We connected like we were all old friends, opened up, and had peak “girlhood” moments together in an organic way.

Nanny Camp has been a truly transformative experience for me, and I do not use those words lightly. The people I have met through my participation in camp have inspired me to branch out in my career and to seek new opportunities. I walk away each year with a new appreciation for what it means to be a nanny.

Nanny Camp changed my life forever, I met new friends who I’ll cherish for the rest of my life and I learned how to love myself unapologetically over the weekend. Thank you to Reagan and Shenandoah for providing the space for us to come be ourselves so safely and to connect with people like us, I will be back every year to feel the love and connection I did at Nanny Camp.

Nanny Camp was an opportunity to do things I enjoy in an outdoor environment. Activities like archery, bird watching, and a fantasy book discussion really helped fill my cup to overflowing. Allowing me to put myself first this weekend and focus on other parts of me besides my job title.

What an amazing, relaxing, inspiring, beautiful, peaceful and joy-filled weekend at Nanny Camp! I made new friends, crafted a bunch, took nature walks, visited animals, explored archery and horseback riding, played games, and so much more. Most importantly, I was able to network with other amazing nannies from across the country. Thank you... for curating such a wonderous experience.

I returned home from Nanny Camp with amazing new nanny friends and a renewed appreciation for the job I have, an invigorated sense of purpose, and inspiration for moving forward in my career.

As, nannies we tend to be the ultimate people pleeasers and willing to sacrifice far to much of ourselves for the people we love. Having a weekend purely dedicated to pouring into nannies and reminding us we deserve that same care is nothing short of amazing. I am not a fan of the fill your cup analogy because a cup is always going to run dry at something... I feel like the connections I made and nanny camp will be that spring and constant reminder to love myself as much as I love my nanny kids.

Nanny Camp was such a positive experience for me in. I made new, dear friends who I will keep for years to come! I made connections that may lead to growth opportunities, and I was inspired by nannies who are breaking barriers and surpassing what we ever thought we were capable of.

When you hear the words Nanny Camp... it’s a place that lets me show up with my hopes, fears, tears, love, joy, and imposter syndrome. It allows me to show up as I am, good and bad, and be loved and seen no matter what. I leave a better human, partner, friend, family member and especially nanny. I leave grounded, with new ideas and standards, phenomenal life long friends, and a refreshed love for the work I do.

Nanny camp really is my saving grace every year. Being able to have something to look forward to every year is a blessing. The sisterhood we have forged is unmatched.

Nanny Camp has been both an incredible opportunity to return to the wonder of my childhood summers, and the single most important driving factor in my finding a new position where I advocated the rate and environment I deserve.

Nanny Camp is a place where I could relax and connect with other nannies and do things that I have never done before. I’m not an outdoorsy/nature girly but nanny camp has given me the confidence that I can grow into that.

Nanny Camp was the highlight of my whole year, and what I will be looking forward to for the next 365 days. I have never felt more accepted and seen than I had been at nanny camp... Nanny camp is a magical and out of this world place made for nannies who need a break from their stressful lives.

Nanny Camp has honestly changed my life. This was my second year going... The space is so inclusive, and I met so many nannies who just get me. Being a nanny can feel really isolating sometimes... But at Nanny Camp, you finally feel like you belong.

When I came to nanny camp in I came as someone still healing from a relationship that broke me, camp healed me, shined light on all the pieces of me that needed it. Nanny Camp further solidified that healing and and this time I was in a space to help heal others who may have needed it! The friends I have made will be lifelong friends and the amount of laughter had in just one weekend is more than most people have in their whole year! Nanny camp will always be my favorite weekend of the whole year!

I came looking for community and I feel like I found it

Nanny Camp was absolutely amazing. I learned so much about myself, and made new friends. Everyone made me feel so welcomed and comfortable to be myself. This trip was filled with both relaxation and growth opportunities. I can’t wait to see everyone next year!

Nanny Camp is pure magic. It pushed me outside of my social comfort zone and I left with friends that I have talked to everyday since camp ended!
