Position Filled - Travel-Ready, Warm + Adventurous Nanny Needed For Joyful On-The-Go Family

A joyful, on-the-go, young family of four is looking for an experienced, warm, loving, energetic, and patient rotational nanny to join their existing nanny team in caring for their two girls!

• Location: Northwest Arkansas. The family also enjoys spending time in Austin, Aspen, and New York.
• Ages of children: 4 and almost 2 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the perfect fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 14 days on, 14 days off. The candidate should be available to provide 24/7 support while on rotation. Flexibility will be key as the family’s travel plans sometimes change.
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate equivalent to $90k-120k/year in annualized earnings based on the rotational schedule and dependent on experience.
• Benefits: The family is happy to offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and 401(k) retirement plan.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-in. A private nanny suite will be provided during rotation, and private accommodations will always be provided while traveling.

Household dynamic:

• The family is looking for someone with a flexible schedule as they have a rather mobile lifestyle, moving between homes and traveling frequently. They would love to find someone who not only is able to travel, but would enjoy this part of the job (hiking, biking, sightseeing, wherever we may be), even with its unique demands. Often, the family will ask the nannies to travel with them; occasionally they will travel and want to leave their children at home with one or two of the nannies.
• The family needs someone who has the ability and stamina to work round the clock during rotation as necessary, whether it is at home or while traveling.The family has another nanny who works Monday through Friday, who will partner with the rotational nanny and provide support during their working hours.

The family hopes to find a nanny who brings ideas about creative, educational, and social activities for their daughters, wherever they may be.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment, reinforcing good behavior or decisions with positive praise
• Flexibility to work with parents to share childcare responsibilities. Recognize opportunities for core family time, remaining available but respectful of family’s privacy

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of experience working with babies and children. Preferred experience traveling domestically and internationally with families
• Positive attitude, proactive and organized
• Active and eager to spend time with children outdoors
• Team player, who can work well with other staff in a busy household
• Valid driver’s license and passport
• Non-smoker
• Clean background check and drug tests
• College degree (preferred)
• Montessori experience (preferred)
• Current infant/child CPR and first-aid certificate
• Vaccinations (e.g. COVID, Tdap, MMR, Flu Shot)
• Must be comfortable with family dog
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of the time
