This fun and loving Florida-based family is seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative, and developmentally informed nanny to care for their active toddler and newborn due in July.
- Location: Tampa, Florida
- Ages of children: 1 year old and a newborn due in July 2025!
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm, or similar.
- Compensation: The family is offering $38-40/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $79,000-83,200/year range.

Household Dynamic:
- This warm, down-to-earth family of three, soon to be four, is seeking a calm, experienced, and educationally minded nanny to support their growing family. Their 1-year-old daughter is described by her family as a very interactive child who loves being outside. The family is also excited to welcome a new baby in July 2025. The family fosters a fun and happy home and looks forward to working with a candidate who can create a nurturing and educational environment by incorporating intentional learning in the children’s daily moments. Another beloved family member is their two large, friendly dogs, so someone who is dog-friendly is essential!
- Dad works outside of the home, while Mom is a stay-at-home parent. The nanny will work in close partnership with a hands-on Mom caring for one child at a time on most days. A collaborative candidate who is also confident caring for both children when Mom needs to step out will be key! The family enjoys going on beach trips, spending time on their boat and by the pool, and traveling for a few weeks throughout the year, often on family vacations. They would love a nanny to join them in their family adventures! A team-oriented candidate who works well with the family and other household staff, including a chef and a housekeeper, will be a wonderful addition.

- This position is ideal for a warm, experienced, and education-minded nanny who genuinely loves supporting young children’s growth. The ideal candidate naturally connects with kids, is attuned to their needs, and brings intentionality to their developmental journey. The family values someone who can weave age-appropriate learning into daily routines, proactively plan enriching activities (like rotating toys, creating weekly themes, and selecting educational materials), and keep up with active little ones. A calm, grounded presence who practices gentle discipline, works well with a hands-on parent, and has experience caring for both infants and toddlers will thrive in this collaborative, engaging role.
- Responsibilities include creating a safe and loving environment for the children to grow and thrive. This includes, but is not limited to children’s meal prep, cleaning up after mealtimes, organizing children’s areas, children’s laundry, occasional errands, planning educational activities, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with a Montessori and/or Early Childhood Education (ECE) background.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for newborns through toddler-aged children
- Educationally minded with a proven ability to incorporate education into the role
- Must be able to lift a double stroller in/out of the car
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport (or be able to obtain one)
- Dog friendly!
