Household dynamic:

  • This kind and fun-loving family is seeking an experienced rotational nanny to join their bustling and collaborative home! With many moving pieces, the household values keeping things as organized as possible with additional support from a personal assistant, an additional rotational nanny, and a part-time housekeeper. At 2 years old, their toddler is described as being silly, goofy, and affectionate, and he LOVES to be outside. At nearly 9 months old, their daughter is easygoing with a calm temperament. This role is perfect for a nanny who loves spending time outdoors, both at home and while traveling. They also have two dogs who may need the occasional belly rub!
  • These dual-career parents have busy schedules that include very frequent travel. They look forward to working with a nanny who is travel-ready and eager to join them. They spend a lot of time in Colorado, Florida, and Massachusetts and typically take one international trip per year. This family values open communication and always wants to ensure their team is comfortable and happy working in their home.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for a travel-ready, detail-oriented career nanny with a strong understanding of developmental milestones for infants and toddlers. The family will appreciate working with a candidate who can anticipate needs and has a pitch-in mentality when it comes to keeping the household running smoothly. A candidate who can read the room, and know when to step in and out with the kids will be valued. The family is excited to work with a nanny team who will be excited to nurture their children’s interests, be engaging and educationally-minded, and be silly and have fun with them! A candidate who understands the value of hand washing to keep sick bugs at bay (as much as possible) will be appreciated!
  • Responsibilities include creating a safe and loving environment for the children to grow and thrive. Child-related household tasks include but are not limited to, meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, cleaning bottles, occasional errands, daily routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. The children are always the #1 priority, but when the need arises, the family would appreciate additional support with dishes and full family laundry.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish, has a Bachelor’s degree, or has experience working on a team.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience
  • Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for infants and toddlers
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Travel experience (personal or travel nanny experience)
  • Travel ready – able to travel with the family for up to one month at a time or up to 30% of the year
  • Ability to swim and care for children in and around water
  • Dog friendly!
  • Open to supporting full family laundry and dishes
