This dynamic single-parent household is seeking a calm, educationally-minded rotational nanny to care for their sweet and curious 3 years old.
- Location: Miami, Florida/Los Angeles, CA
- Ages of children: 3 years old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 12 days on/12 days off, with the general working hours being 12 hours per day. The family will communicate about specific weekly hours in advance. Flexibility for evenings, travel, and occasional overnight shifts during the rotation, and flexibility for longer rotations as needed based on the family’s travel schedule will be key for the right candidate!
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $110k-130k/year dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k, and a vehicle for professional use.
- Live-in/Live-out: Accommodations are provided while on rotation.
- Other Notes: The family is open to candidates who would like to fly-in and fly-out for their rotations.

- This mindful and dynamic single mom is seeking a calm, educationally-minded rotational nanny to join their team in caring for their 3-year-old daughter! Her family describes her as a sweet, kind, and thoughtful child with a great sense of humor and is adored by everyone around her. She enjoys singing, dancing, swimming, and spending time on boats. She is currently attending a Montessori school, taking Spanish classes, and will be returning to preschool this September. The candidate will join the nanny team and take charge of setting a developmental and learning-focused environment while maintaining clear, age-appropriate boundaries for the toddler.
- The family has a dynamic, travel-filled lifestyle with an upcoming trip to Europe this summer and other domestic travels throughout the year, including visits to Idaho, and between their homes in Miami and LA. They foster a supportive and team-oriented environment at home, employing four full-time nannies, with two nannies on most of the time and significant overlap between caregivers to ensure seamless support. An on-the-go, team-minded nanny who is excited to join the family on their adventures will blend well with this household.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a calm, thoughtful, collaborative, educationally-minded rotational nanny who is confident in fostering a toddler’s academic, social, and emotional development! Someone who naturally keeps up with a toddler’s energy and is experienced in integrating a teaching or learning-oriented approach to their daily care will be wonderful. The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan activities that will encourage the toddler’s independence, help her explore her interests, and facilitate learning through interactive, hands-on activities. The family values respecting body safety boundaries and promoting gentle parenting principles. Mom appreciates clear and constructive feedback and seeks an adaptable and open-minded candidate who views feedback as a tool for growth. A rounded, proactive, and team-spirited candidate who is calm in chaos and is ready to step in as needed will thrive in this all-hands-on-deck household.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, creating age-appropriate curriculum while traveling, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish, has a background with Montessori or Reggio Emilia school or philosophy, has behavioral experience with toddlers, and/or is certified in yoga/mindfulness/meditation.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers
- Aligns and adheres to body safety rules
- Comfortable and aligned with working in a scent-free environment
- Valid passport
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to swim and comfortable caring for children near water and on a boat
- Travel experience
- Standard vaccines
