Household dynamic:
- This family welcomed their first child this past January, and are already looking forward to taking him on big adventures over the next months and years! The family describes themselves as adventurous, loving, funny, civic-minded, and loyal. While currently based in the Bay Area, they have plans to explore other places! They will spend most of their time in Pensacola, FL from October 2022 to April 2023, then call Barcelona home through Fall 2024! Mom works in philanthropy and dad is a professional sailor, so much of the family’s upcoming travel and shifting of home bases will be for sailing competitions around the country and world! Beginning in May, the family will be spending time in Europe and the Northeast for summer regattas and in October they will be making Pensacola, Florida their home base for a year for team training.
- As a family, they love to explore in ways such as trying new restaurants in their hometown, and recently enjoyed a trip to Antarctica (their last pre-covid adventure!). At the same time, the family loves to spend a cozy night making pasta. They value integrity, humility, humor, and close relationships with family and friends. A candidate who can help instill these values into their son and provide a secure, consistent presence and readiness for adventure will be valued for years to come!

A candidate who is proactive, perceptive to their child’s needs, and willing to pitch in where needed, especially in regards to keeping things organized and tidy will be appreciated.
- While not requirements for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who possesses a bachelor’s degree and who is Spanish-speaking!
