A close-knit family in San Francisco is seeking a joyful nanny to join them in caring for their children!

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Ages of children: 3 and 1 years old
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 45-50 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm. Flexibility for occasional weekends and date nights will be appreciated and communicated in advance.
• Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 45-50 hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $99k-129k/year range dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a healthcare stipend, a vehicle for professional use, a housing stipend, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out.

Household dynamic:

• This social, playful family of four is excited to find a nanny to join their team! At home in SF, they have a spacious house with a fun backyard that is full of art, toys, and slightly chaotic fun. At 3 years old, the eldest is described as being vivacious, clever, and affectionate. She loves telling and hearing stories, imaginary play, building towers, doing puzzles, and ice cream. She attends an Italian immersion preschool and teaches her family lots of Italian! She is also the best big sister to her little brother, who is a very smiley baby. He loves playing with bouncy balls, eating all sorts of food, and observing his sister. Both kids love going on the swings together and snuggling in bed after their naps. They describe themselves as an affectionate, go-with-the-flow family, and believe in giving their children lots of love and room for independent play and exploration while maintaining necessary boundaries.
• The family values community and has a close-knit crew of friends and family nearby who are a big part of their lives. They spend time adventuring locally visiting their wine country vacation home, skiing in the winter, and venturing further to the East Coast to visit family in the summer! A candidate who is excited to travel alongside the family will be essential. Both parents are in and out during the day and appreciate someone who is collaborative and comfortable working with work-from-home parents.

• This position is ideal for someone playful, dependable, and enjoys working with active toddler and preschool-aged children! A candidate who seeks to share their joy with children and create an environment where they can grow and express themselves will be a wonderful fit. The family looks forward to working with someone with a step-in, step-out mentality who can give them time with their children and help with other household tasks when possible.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with family assistant experience or travel nanny experience.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddler and preschool-age children
• Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
• Valid driver's license
• Experience caring for multiple children in a role
