A heart-filled, outdoorsy, Jackson, WY-based family is seeking two professional, organized, and travel-ready rotational nannies to join them in caring for their 16-month-old twins!
- Location: Jackson, WY
- Ages of children: Twins, 16 months old
- Start Date/Contract Dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Rotational schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. The candidate can expect to provide 24/7 on-call coverage during on weeks.
- Compensation and benefits: The family is offering an hourly rate equivalent to $100-125k+/year in addition to benefits including assistance with health, dental and vision insurance.
- Live-in/Live-Out: Live-in while working with private and separate accommodations provided on the family’s property, and live-out during off weeks. The family is happy to consider candidates who would fly in and out for their work weeks and will provide a vehicle while the candidate is on duty.
- Daily environment:
- This family is warm, fun-loving, and laidback. While based in the Jackson Hole area, they travel frequently throughout the year to their second home in Hawaii, and have plans to spend the next few months in the Bay Area. Dad works full-time between home and the office, and mom is currently staying at home with the twins. They love enjoying all that Jackson has to offer, from skiing, to hiking and swimming, and love seeking out new experiences on their travels. These first-time parents are so excited to build a rotational nanny team to join them on adventures and support their family!
- Their 16-month-old twins are sweet and curious. One of the twins is navigating a medical condition, and candidates should be comfortable administering medication and generally being a pillar of support to the family. Willingness to mirror the family’s COVID requirements by following CDC guidelines is key to ensure everyone’s safety at this time! The family would welcome a candidate with medical experience, but they are happy to train on this!
- Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a candidate who is skilled at bringing consistency and structure to a bustling, adventurous home! The family is seeking a nanny who can be self-directed in planning activities, bring an educational bend to their role, and collaborate and tag-team with mom as needed.
- A step in and step out intuition will be valued; being able to transition to provide household support while the parents dive into family time will be key, such as grocery shopping, children’s meal prep, tidying and organization, and more. Flexibility and excitement to travel will also be important for this family who’s always ready for a new adventure.
- Outdoor readiness is a priority for this family. A candidate who is excited to throw on a backpack and join the family for a hike or take a day trip to the beach will thrive in this collaborative environment!
- Twins experience, or additional skill sets like a second language or musical background would be a huge plus to this family!
- Must haves:
- At least 3 years of professional, full-time childcare experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one ASAP
- Recent, applicable experience caring for toddlers, and confidence caring for multiple children in a role
- Flexible and able to travel with the family frequently throughout the year during on weeks
- Collaborative and team-spirited to work with parents and caregivers
- Comfortable with healthy meal prep
- Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws.
