Position Filled - Travel-Loving Nanny/Family Assistant Needed For Family Splitting Their Time Between Costa Rica, Jackson Hole + Florida

An adventure-loving family of four that splits their time between Florida, Wyoming, and Costa Rica is seeking a travel-ready, educationally minded nanny and family assistant to join them in supporting their school-aged children!
- Location: Delray Beach, FL, Jackson Hole, WY, and Costa Rica
- Ages of children: 9 and 5 years old
- Start Date/Contract Dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-50 hours per week Tuesday through Saturday with the general schedule falling between 7:30am-5:30pm or 12pm-10pm. Flexibility for additional hours, travel, overnights, and providing family assisting support while the children are at school will be key.
- Compensation and benefits: The family is offering $35-40+/hr in addition to benefits including a healthcare stipend, housing and/or a housing stipend, PTO, and relocation assistance resulting in a full compensation package in the $100-115+k/year range for the perfect applicant.
- Live-in/Live-Out: Live-out. Private accommodations will always be offered when traveling or staying at the family’s properties in Wyoming and Costa Rica. The family looks forward to identifying a housing setup that works well for all parties given the exciting travel involved in this role!
Household Dynamic:
- A bustling family of four and their sweet, energetic lab split their time between the beach and the mountains! These dual-career parents love to balance work and play and are raising their children to be free thinkers and encourage hands-on, experiential learning whenever possible. One of their children learns with ADHD and is equipped with a great tool kit and occupational therapy team to support them and their caregivers! They are eager to welcome an educationally-focused nanny who can help to make their curriculum have the biggest impact whether traveling or at home.
- The 5 and 9-year-old are creative, active, and adventure-loving. Both enjoy playing outdoors, doing everything from rock climbing to kite surfing! They are currently into animals and collecting critters in their backyard like spiders, hermit crabs, fish, and butterflies.
- The family travels frequently between their homes in Florida, Wyoming, and Costa Rica, as well as vacation-style travel to Europe. Whether it’s for a week-long trip to one of their homes or a longer adventure, someone who is travel-savvy with an adventurous spirit will thrive!
Ideal candidate:
- The ideal candidate is a happy, optimistic, patient, lover of adventure who is ready to add their many talents to the family’s bustling household! Someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and brings a can-do attitude to each day will thrive in this dynamic environment. The family is excited to work with the candidate to co-construct a weekly schedule and division of tasks to help this person thrive in each of these areas!
- An educationally-focused nanny who is a true team player and is happy to support the family in a variety of capacities, from facilitating the children’s education and planning activities for the curriculum, to helping pack between destinations or supporting this family and household run smoothly with family assisting-type tasks will all be appreciated. The family hopes for a candidate who can work side by side with the parents to create the best day-to-day experience for their children.
- This family is constantly on the go and would be excited to bring on a high-energy candidate who can enthusiastically support their adventures! They look forward to meeting a multi-talented candidate to join them for years to come! While not a requirement, the family would love to work with a candidate who possesses a proven background or training in early childhood education, is experienced neurodiverse learners, and/or speaks Spanish!
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional childcare, teaching experience in a classroom or homeschool setting, and/or family assisting experience
- Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
- Experience (and excitement!) traveling with families and children
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
- Dog friendly! Willing to support light pet care.
