CLOSED - Rotational, Educationally-Minded Nanny Needed For Friendly Family Splitting Their Time Between Palm Beach + Nantucket

A friendly family of four based in sunny Palm Beach, FL is seeking a professional, educationally-focused ROTA nanny to join them in caring for their 21-month-old and newborn on the way!

• Location: Palm Beach, FL and Travel in Summer
• Ages of children: Almost 2 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. Candidates will be responsible for 24/7 coverage while on duty and schedule flexibility and collaboration to adjust weekly schedules to correspond with the family’s travel schedule will be key.
• Compensation: The family is offering an annualized base compensation of $85-130k/year based on the rotational schedule.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, relocation assistance, and a vehicle for professional use based on the position and total compensation package.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-in. A private bedroom and en suite bathroom on a separate floor from the family in Palm Beach while on rotation.

• This loving and fun Palm Beach family is excited to find a nanny to join their rotational nanny team for the long term! The family spends a few months out of the year traveling to their second home in Nantucket, where mom is regularly home during the day and is excited to offer both autonomy in care and times of partnership to the nanny. These parents love gentle parenting, Montessori, and RIE methods, and would enjoy working with a nanny who is familiar with these approaches or has an enthusiasm to build on their toolkit through continuing education!
• Their 21-month-old is described by his parents as being a charming, opinionated, funny, social, energetic, and curious toddler. He has a lot of love to give, but is still figuring out the world around him and enjoys being in his trusted circle of family, friends, and caregivers. He and his parents are excited for a nanny to join his village!

A candidate who can jump right in to create a structured, energetic, and creative environment for their child to grow and thrive will be valued for years to come. An ECE or educational background or proven interest in continuing education will go far with this family, as they are excited to work with a candidate who can bolster their child’s development.
• The family employs another Adventure Nanny, house manager/ executive housekeeper, part-time housekeeper, and property managers. Experience working in a team or fully-staffed environment would be appreciated by the family. A clean and organized candidate will thrive in this role. While the role will be child-focused, the family enjoys working with candidates who possess a can-do, team mentality and are willing to pitch in with child-related tidying and organizing.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• A valid driver's license and proven experience driving in past positions
• Experience with the infant and toddler stages and the associated developmental milestones
• Flexibility in scheduling, location, and willingness to travel with the family
• Adept at working in a team environment
• Comfortable and competent in the pool with child, swimming required
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
• Early education degree or preschool teaching experience a plus
• Newborn experience a plus
