A kind, professional family based in New York City is seeking a travel-ready, self-directed, and educational nanny for their 1.5-year-old daughter!
- Location: Lower Manhattan, NYC
- Ages of children: 1.5 years old
- Start date/Contract dates: June 2022. The family is flexible for an earlier or later start date for a perfect fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 45-50 hours/week with the general scheduling falling on Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm. Someone with the flexibility to meet each day's scheduling needs, take on date nights with advanced notice, and to travel on vacation-style trips throughout the year is key!
- Compensation: The family is offering $35+/hour based on the 45-50+ hour/week schedule, which equates to annualized base compensation of $85-100+K/year dependent on experience
- Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, MetroCard, and overnight/travel bonus based on candidate need.
- Relocation: The family is prioritizing candidates local to the NYC area. For a perfect applicant with ties to NYC, they may be open to a relocation candidate and providing relocation assistance.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. When traveling the candidate will be provided a private bedroom and bathroom on the property.
Household dynamic:
- These first-time parents are based in Greenwich Village and have loved embarking on the journey of parenthood! They are eager to add a nanny to their team who is also excited to travel with them to vacation-style destinations like escaping to Mexico for a few weeks during the winter months! The family is also planning on adding a co-nanny to provide backup, weekend, and additional travel support.
- Their 1.5-year-old is a happy, healthy growing toddler who loves to take in the outdoors. As first time parents, they are open to guidance and enjoy working with trustworthy, safety-oriented caregivers who can be fully autonomous in their roles.

Candidates should have a willingness to pitch-in where needed with family assisting duties, like grocery shopping and light meal prep, which will be key as their daughter begins attending school in the fall.
- The family hopes their nanny who can be flexible, self-directed, and excited to travel; the flexibility to join on vacation-style travel throughout the year will be important and always scheduled in advance.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who possesses a valid driver’s license and an educational background.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of recent professional, full-time childcare experience
- Valid passport
- Recent, applicable experience caring for toddlers and strong knowledge of applicable developmental milestones
- Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
