CLOSED - Organized, Educational Nanny/Family Assistant Needed For Bustling SF Family

A close-knit, spontaneous San Francisco-based family is seeking a nanny/family assistant to join them in caring for their three children and household!

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Ages of children: nearly 2 year old twins, 4 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: By June 2022
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40+ hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 7:30pm, with one date night per week. Flexibility for occasional travel will be asked in advance and appreciated!
• Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 40+ hour/week schedule, which equates to annualized base compensation of $85-95+k/year dependent on experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The family is open to providing a monthly housing stipend for the perfect relocation candidate.

• This loving, casual family lives in a beautiful part of San Francisco, with expansive nature and great playgrounds a short walk away from their home. These dual-career parents love to stay active and partake in outdoor adventures with their children, and equally enjoy spending a cozy night at home. Their children, nearly 2 year old twins and 4 years old, are a fun-loving bunch and are interested in a wide range of activities, from cooking and arts and crafts to playing games and being outdoors. All three children attend school in the Presidio, and the family loves to explore the woods and beaches there on the weekends. The family seeks to foster a respectful, supportive working environment in their home, and treat their nanny as an extension of their family. A candidate who is excited to embrace this family’s warm home dynamic and help them raise kind, confident, active kids will thrive in this role!
• The family has missed traveling over the last couple of years, and are excited to travel more over the coming years with their nanny! They spend a month each summer visiting family on the East Coast and take a couple of additional vacations throughout the year. Both parents work outside of the home, so a candidate who is self-directed and confident working independently will be appreciated!

• This position is ideal for a candidate who is high energy, self-directed, and organized and can support a bustling household with three growing children! A nanny who is excited to pivot and grow into a family assisting role will enjoy the balance of this hybrid position. The family is excited to work with a candidate who is experienced and confident in working with multiples!
• The ideal candidate will confidently jump into this role and see opportunities to organize and make the family’s life easier, while also providing a stimulating and educational environment for the children. The first hours of the day will focus on family assisting tasks, like grocery shopping and other errands, rocking a to-do list, managing children’s belongings and doing the children’s laundry. In the afternoon, the candidate will pick the children up from school and focus on childcare duties and planning fun outings.
• While not a requirement for the role, a candidate who possesses twins experience or is a wonderful cook would be an asset to this family! Candidates with a culinary background or skill set would have the opportunity to take on more hours and responsibilities if desired.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Valid driver’s license and passport
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
• Experience confidently caring for 3+ children in a role
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Comfortable preparing basic meals for children
