Position Filled - Outgoing, Travel-Ready Rotational Nanny Needed For Caring New England Family

A travel-ready, caring family of four based in the suburbs of Boston, MA is seeking an outgoing, friendly, and collaborative rotational nanny to join their team in caring for their 2-year-old and infant!

  • Location: An hour outside of Boston, MA
  • Ages of children: 2 years old and 8 months old
  • Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
  • Schedule: Rotational schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. The candidate can expect to provide 24/7 on-call coverage during on weeks.
  • Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate equivalent to $90-110k+/year dependent on experience based on the rotational schedule.
  • Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including assistance with healthcare, discretionary bonuses, student loan repayment, phone stipend, and other benefits like museum memberships.
  • Live-in/Live-out: Live-in while working with private and separate accommodations provided on the family’s property, and live-out during off weeks. The family may be open to providing accommodations during off weeks for the right candidate.

  • This family’s home base is New England, but they love to travel as often as they can to their home outside of Palm Beach, FL. They enjoy fostering an environment filled with love, laughter, great food and family time wherever they go. While their life can be fast-paced with a bustling schedule, they value a laid-back, supportive environment at home.
  • Their 2-year-old is loving, energetic, and talkative. Their 8-month-old is nonstop smiles and ready to move. Both children love reading and snuggling. The whole family is excited to welcome a second rotational nanny to their team who can provide loving, nurturing care for their 2-year-old and growing infant.

  • This position is ideal for a candidate who is skilled at creating a fun, silly, and playful environment in a bustling home! The family is seeking a nanny who is excited to engage in activities like taking their toddler outside, heading to the bookstore or the park, or exploring new exhibits at the museum.
  • A collaborative, team-minded nanny will thrive in this home when working alongside this wonderful team of caregivers; mom is excited to partner alongside their nanny to tag-team the day. The family hopes for a nanny who is comfortable with both toddlers and infants in order to play an integral role in the children’s growth.
  • A step in and step out intuition will be valued; being able to transition to provide household support while the parents dive into family time will be key, such as grocery shopping, children’s meal prep, tidying and organization, and more. Flexibility and excitement to travel will also be important for this family who’s always ready for an adventure, whether it’s to Europe or the Caribbean!

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
  • Previous experience in a rotational role is highly preferred
  • Background in education and/or supporting children with special needs, specifically those on the autism spectrum, is a big plus
  • Recent, applicable experience caring for toddlers and infants, and confidence caring for multiple children in a role
  • Flexible and able to travel with the family frequently throughout the year during on week
  • Collaborative and team-spirited to work with parents and caregivers
