Outdoorsy Nanny / Professional Family Assistant Needed For Global Boulder Family

This active, travel-loving family seeks an exceptionally organized and globally-minded Nanny/ Family Assistant to support their children and help facilitate their active lifestyle.
- Location: Boulder, Colorado
- Ages of children: 10 and 12 years old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Candidates can expect to work 20-40 hours per week based on the family’s schedule, with the general schedule falling on Monday-Friday. The family is guaranteeing full-time compensation based on a 40-hour work week. Flexibility for weekends, date nights, and overnights will be communicated in advance and appreciated.
- Compensation: The family is offering $45-50/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $94k-104k/year range dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance stipend, 401k matching, relocation assistance based on candidate need, and the complete benefits package.
- Live-in/Live-out: Flexible to live-in or live-out. The family is offering a private, on-property guest house.
- Other Notes: The candidate will be required to use their personal vehicle for work-related purposes.

- This globally-minded family of four is seeking a wise and outdoor-loving nanny/family assistant to support their growing children! Their two children, aged 10 and 12 years old, attend a progressive school in Colorado where they are encouraged to think, understand, and reason critically. The children love outdoor activities and are passionate about the arts. The family is eager to partner with a candidate who can come up with interesting experiential learning projects and also assist the children in their chores, homework, and activities while providing thoughtful guidance that stimulates holistic learning and development and fosters their overall independence.
- Mom and Dad are involved in international work and passionate about science-based learning, thoughtful character development, first-principle thinking, and raising the boys to be curious, empathetic, and creative humans who care deeply about the world and the planet we inhabit. Traveling and exploring nature is a big part of this family's life! Depending on where they are, they enjoy rock climbing, hiking, skiing in the winter, rafting, and kayaking. Additional time off will be given this summer, as the children will attend an arts camp and explore Africa in August. The family would love an on-the-go, outdoor-loving candidate who can join and provide support to the family while traveling and weave education into each day.

- Responsibilities include childcare tasks and family assisting duties. Childcare responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties are running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, organizing and attending playdates, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional educational or childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with elementary to middle school-age children
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant professional experience
- Willingness to use personal vehicle for professional use
- Valid driver’s license and experience/confidence driving in the snow
- Valid passport
