CLOSED - Outdoor-Loving, Adventurous Nanny Needed For Inclusive, Welcoming Family In Bend, OR

An inclusive, kind-hearted family based in beautiful Bend, OR is seeking an outdoorsy, self-starting, and fun-loving nanny to care for their three young children!

• Location: Bend, OR
• Ages of children: 5 years old, 3 years old, and 18 months old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the perfect fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours/week with an ability to flex up to 50 hours/week. The general scheduling falling Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm, with one weekday shifted schedule to accommodate a weekly date night (eg 11am-8pm). Flexibility for occasional weekends, overnights and travel will be asked in advance and appreciated.
• Compensation: The family is offering $30/hour based on the 40+ hour/week schedule, which equates to annualized base compensation of $60-85k/year dependent on experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out.

Their 5-year-old is imaginative and curious, always ready to build something, while their 3-year-old is animated and loves to color and paint. They attend school throughout the week while their 18-month-old sibling is a delightful and easygoing toddler!
• Dad works full-time and mom part-time. They are excited to find a fun-loving nanny to join their warm and joyful family. With a strong history of longevity in their previous caregivers, they value fostering strong, balanced relationships with their family team and providing autonomy for the role.

• Strong confidence in the children’s age ranges, an educational mindset, and comfortability with multiple children in one home will be important! They hope for a bit of flexibility to assist with bedtime routines when needed, provide sole coverage while mom and dad travel for an occasional weekend away, as well as to travel along with them on vacations in the future. The family has an all-hands-on-deck spirit in their home; pitching in with healthy meal prep, running occasional errands, children’s laundry, organization, and more, will be appreciated!

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional, full-time childcare experience
• Valid driver’s license and passport
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Experience balancing the care of two or more children at one time
• Flexible and able to provide sole coverage and travel with the family as needed throughout the year
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
