Position Filled - Kind, Organized Nanny Needed For Easy-Going, Bustling Family Based In San Francisco

A light-hearted family in San Francisco, CA is seeking an open-minded, empathetic nanny to join them in caring for their three children!

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Ages of children: 4 years old, 2 years old, and 7-months-old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the perfect fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 45 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday-Thursday from 11am-8pm and Fridays from 11am-5pm. Flexibility for occasional date nights and bi-annual travel to be asked and appreciated with advanced notice!
• Compensation: The family is offering $35-40+/hour based on the 45+ hour/week schedule, which equates to annualized base compensation of $85-100+k/year dependent on experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The family is happy to provide temporary housing on or off-site for the perfect relocation candidate. A housing stipend may also be offered.

Household dynamic:

• Described as a bustling household with an easy-going and flexible vibe, this family of three brings an inviting, collaborative energy to each day! The family has three children, and their oldest, at 4-years-old, loves arts and crafts, baking, and reading. Their 2-year-old loves music and playing the guitar. Both of the oldest children attend preschool during the week, so the role will mostly focus on their 7-month-old during the daytime. They’re still figuring out their youngest child’s interests beyond grabbing things, and are very excited to nurture them as they emerge!
• The family has had a wonderful relationship with their current nanny, who will be staying on with them part-time as they return to school this fall. They are seeking a candidate who can support their full-time needs and be a valued addition to the family for years to come! Both parents work outside of the home, and love activities like surfing, kitesurfing, and pilates! The whole family takes annual trips to Israel in the Spring and Australia in the Winter, and they would love for a candidate to join them on these travels.

The family is open to offering additional hours to a candidate who is eager to provide household support with things like errands, family meal preparation, and more. Above all, the family hopes that their nanny feels comfortable and confident working with three children at a time.
• Responsibilities include providing a safe environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related laundry and tidying kids’ spaces, basic meal prep for the children, and contributing to the general organization of the home!
• As the children grow and attend full days at school, this role will evolve into a family assistant/nanny position, so someone with excitement to support the family with meal prep, organizing, general tidying, and kid's laundry will be the perfect fit for this family long-term!

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Comfortability in preparing basic meals for the children
