- Location: Melrose, Massachusetts
- Ages of children: Their child will be 3 months old at the start of the position!
- Start date/Contract dates: September through February 2023, with some flexibility on start and end dates for the perfect applicant!

Household dynamic:
- These busy and loving first-time parents just welcomed their baby boy this May, and are looking for a nanny to support their family before he will likely enter daycare in the winter or spring of 2023! Their baby was born prematurely, so the family hopes to find a candidate who is confident in supporting his needs and brings a patient, warm demeanor to their role.
- The family, along with their two short-haired cats, is based just outside of Boston in Melrose, MA. Mom works from home, while dad works at the office during the week. While mom is at home, she looks forward to partnering with a candidate who is independent and confident at jumping right in to provide care. Both parents are eager to welcome a collaborative, kind care provider to their family!
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for someone who is gentle, patient, and comfortable caring for a preemie. A candidate who brings infant experience and a strong intuition for baby’s needs will thrive in this role, as well as the skills to create great foundations and routines as he grows and thrives!
- This is a child-focused role, so all responsibilities will be related to the child. A candidate who is willing to keep up with bottle preparation and sanitization, child-related laundry, and tidying the baby’s space will be appreciated.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with someone who has previously supported a preemie!
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
- Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
- Cat friendly!
- Valid driver's license
