A community-oriented and mindful family in Berkeley, CA is seeking a loving, grounded nanny to join them in caring for their 2-year-old daughter and baby on the way!

• Location: Berkeley, CA
• Ages of children: Almost 2 years old. The family is expecting their second child in August!
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility to support travel throughout the year and occasional schedule changes will be asked in advance and appreciated!
• Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 45-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $100-110k/year range dependent on experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package. The family will also reimburse a candidate up to $500/month of health insurance premiums.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out

• These open-minded and collaborative Bay Area parents are excited to welcome a caregiver into their home as they welcome baby number two. They describe their almost 2-year-old as being a joyful and hilarious kid who brings her spunky, outgoing, and love-filled energy everywhere she goes. She loves to sing and dance, and the family would love to work with a nanny who can nurture her curiosity by following her lead. She will be starting part-time daycare during the week, and the candidate will help with pick-up and drop-off.
• Both parents are passionate about contributing meaningfully in their careers, creating community with friends and other families, and being loving parents to their children. The family travels semi-frequently throughout the year and would love to work with a candidate who brings the flexibility to support their family on long weekend trips or other travel. Though both parents work outside of the home, a candidate who is comfortable and confident in working with a team including a weekend co-nanny, family assistant, and housekeeper will be key. The family is excited to foster a supportive and collaborative working environment in their home, and hopes that their nanny can thrive alongside their family team for years to come!

The ideal candidate will be savvy with the infant through toddler years and confident in creating an environment that nurtures curiosity and learning. • Responsibilities include light child-related housekeeping, children’s meal preparation, flexibility to travel with the family throughout the year, and being a general team player!

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• 5 years of professional childcare experience
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
• Newborn and toddler experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
