CLOSED - Experienced Rotational Nannies Needed For Down-To-Earth Family In Austin, TX

A down-to-earth family of four based in Austin, Texas is seeking two ROTA nannies to join their nanny team in caring for their 4-month-old and 2-year-old children!

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Ages of children: 4 months old and 2 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the perfect fit!
• Schedule: This is a rotational position of 7 days on, 7 days off with the bulk of working hours taking place between 8am-10pm. Flexibility for overnight care and to coordinate with a co-nanny to offer extended travel coverage may be asked in advance and appreciated.
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate equivalent to $90-120+k in annualized earnings based on the rotational schedule.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The family may consider a housing stipend or landing pad for the perfect relocation candidate.

• This active family of four enjoys traveling and exploring in the great outdoors whenever the opportunity arises! The parents welcomed their second child this past winter, and are seeking nannies to join them in caring for their two children. Their children, 4-months-old and 2-years-old, enjoy listening to music, and the oldest loves arts and crafts and imaginative play.
• The family’s home is fully staffed and the family team environment is collaborative, upbeat, and ideal for self-starters! Both parents are in and out of the home regularly and would appreciate working with a candidate who is collaborative, team-oriented, and able to step in and step out intuitively.

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with infants and toddlers, is developmentally minded, and has experience in supporting a fully-staffed home! A go-with-the-flow nanny who brings a positive, professional demeanor to their role will be a wonderful addition to the nanny team. The family values working with candidates who are organized and exude a teamworking spirit, so someone who can create a structure for their children alongside the team and help pitch in with day-to-day child-related organization will be appreciated.
• A candidate who is down-to-earth, flexible, loving, and excited to partner with these dedicated parents, co-nannies, and other household staff in providing well-rounded, developmentally-minded care will fit in seamlessly in this home and thrive for years to come. Someone with experience traveling as a nanny would be a big bonus as this family enjoys traveling throughout the year!

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Valid driver’s license and passport
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Experience working in a team or fully-staffed environment
• Travel experience, either personally or with families
