This warm and fun-loving CA-based family is seeking two organized and professional rotational nannies to join their team!
- Location: Hillsborough, CA
- Ages of children: Three elementary school-aged children
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of Wednesday through Tuesday. Candidates can expect to work between the hours of 7am and 7:30pm. Flexibility for evenings, travel, and occasional overnight shifts during the rotation will be key for the right candidate!
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $140-150k/year dependent on candidate experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing top-of-the-line health, vision, and dental insurance, fully covered and available immediately, along with one week of paid time off (88 hrs per year), paid holidays, matching 401K contributions-available after six months of employment, an annual bonus, and a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: The family has a staff house on site for the nannies to stay in until they relocate or to use as needed if they do not want to drive home at night.
- Other: The family will consider fly in/out candidates for the first three months of the role. Candidates must be willing to relocate within a commuting distance after three months.
Household dynamic:
- This warm and kind CA-based family is excited to welcome two organized ROTA nannies to join their family team! The family has three bright and eager-to-learn children who fill their home with joy and laughter daily. All children attend elementary school during the day. During this time, the nanny will pivot to assisting the family with general household tasks, as well as child-related errands. The family looks forward to meeting someone who can actively engage with the children through educational and playful activities while maintaining mindful boundaries.
- Dad works in a separate office, while Mom currently stays at home. The family enjoys traveling a few times a year, visiting destinations such as the Caribbean during the summer/spring, Utah or Montana in Winter, and Europe. The family fosters an organized and collaborative atmosphere in their home and among their household staff. Other household staff members include a house manager, a housekeeping team, a nanny team, chefs, and a handyman.
Ideal Candidate
- This position is ideal for an educationally-minded career nanny with experience working in fully-staffed homes. The family seeks a candidate passionate about engaging young minds and creating hands-on, interactive learning experiences to foster the children’s growth and development. The family looks forward to working with someone who is perceptive, can read the room, and knows when to step in and step back when appropriate. A candidate who is well-versed in caring for multiple children in a role and who has strong organizational instincts will seamlessly integrate into the family’s dynamic to support the children and the household.
- Responsibilities include both childcare and family assisting tasks. Childcare-related tasks include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include running errands, light meal planning and preparation, and grocery shopping.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with an education background and experience working in a fully-staffed home.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with elementary-age children
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid driver's license
- Valid passport
- Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19
- Must be willing to relocate within a commutable distance after 3 months of employment
