This private, loving Austin, TX family is seeking a confident and capable nanny to join their ROTA team!
- Location: Austin, TX
- Ages of children: 2 years old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. Candidates will provide 24/7 on-call coverage during rotations, and flexibility to travel frequently is essential.
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $150k+/year dependent on candidate experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, participation in a 401k plan, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-in on rotation. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided.
- Other: The family is open to candidates who would like to fly in and out for their rotations. Candidates must have direct flights under 4 hours available to/from Austin from their home airport.

They are excited to meet a second ROTA nanny who can foster a loving, educational, and safe environment for their child.
- Both parents lead dynamic lifestyles, with one parent traveling frequently for work. The family also travels together throughout the year and splits their time between their multiple residences. The family hopes to find a capable ROTA nanny who enjoys being on the go and is confident in providing focused and nurturing care to children while traveling. Someone who can navigate working in a collaborative environment alongside parents and other staff will be a wonderful addition to the team.
Ideal Candidate
- This position is ideal for an adaptable and reliable nanny who can provide engaging, educationally-minded care for a spirited toddler! A candidate who is warm, intuitive, and comfortable partnering with involved parents will be key, as well as someone who can proactively offer suggestions while respecting parental decisions. The family looks forward to meeting a nanny who can maintain open communication with the family and is receptive to feedback.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, laundry, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement, the family would love to work with a candidate with fluency in Mandarin, a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and/or experience working in a staffed environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers
- Experience working with team or in a fully-staffed home
- Travel experience
- Ability to swim and comfortable caring for children in and near water
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19
