Closed
Nationwide

These engaged, loving, Utah-based parents are seeking a nanny to join them in caring for their daughters!

  • Location: Park City, UT
  • Ages of children: 7, 6, and 2 years old!
  • Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
  • Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 50 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm. Flexibility to travel with the family throughout the year is essential!
  • Compensation: The family is offering $35-40/hour based on the 50-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $91k-135k/year range.
  • Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a ski and mountain pass, country club access, a housing stipend, and relocation assistance for the right candidate. A vehicle will be provided for professional use.
  • Live-in/Live-out: Longer term will be live-out. There is an opportunity for an interim period to live-in while live-out accommodations are found. In this situation, a separate guest house on the family’s property will be provided.

Household dynamic:

  • This fun-loving family of five enjoys all things outdoors! Life is one big adventure for this family, and they have lived the ski, hike, and bike in/out lifestyle for their children’s entire lives. With three girls and two beloved dogs, they affectionately refer to their dynamic as loving chaos. Their three children are all wonderful and quite different. At 7 years old, their eldest is described by her parents as being a bright, athletic protector. The family’s middle child, 6 years old, is their princess nurturer, and at just 2 years old, the youngest is the family comedian who keeps everyone engaged.
  • They prioritize their family's health and well-being above everything and make life decisions based on what is best for their daughters. This has led them on many international adventures, most recently leading them to relocate to the Bahamas. They are returning home to the US as their primary residence, and all three of their children will be enrolled in full-time online school for the coming year. They will still visit the Bahamas for up to several weeks each year and look forward to finding a nanny who can join them there and on their other travels. The family will enjoy working alongside a nanny who can be part of the team and support their girls as they adjust to a new educational journey! Someone who is collaborative but takes initiative and ownership will be a good fit.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for someone positive, adaptable, adventurous, responsible, hard-working, and respectful by nature. Deferent to, but collaborative with, the parents, who are actively engaged in the daily life of their children. A nanny who is educationally minded and excited to be a core source of support for the children’s education will be key. The family is open to what kind of background a candidate possesses. Someone who loves to be outdoors will thrive alongside the family, and a willingness to hike, bike, ski, and play outside is key! Loving the mountains and ocean is a big plus. One of the children is neurodivergent and thrives with additional patience and support, so someone who has a calm, even-tempered personality will be a great addition to their team!
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, supporting the school day and the children’s education, coordinating and transporting the children to after-school activities, and traveling frequently with the family throughout the year.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has experience traveling personally or with past nanny families!

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Knowledge and experience with toddler through elementary-age children
  • Able to swim and comfortable supervising children in and around water
  • Valid driver's license and passport
  • Confident in supporting children with ADHD
  • Dog friendly!
  • Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws

This position is open to all Adventure Nannies candidates who are legally able to work in the US.
