Position Filled - Educationally-Minded Nanny Needed For World-Traveling Atlanta Family

A travel-loving family of five based in Atlanta, GA gearing up to move to Miami, FL is seeking an educationally-minded career nanny to join them in caring for their children!

• Location: Atlanta, GA, and Miami, FL
• Ages of children: 6 years old, 2 years old, and 9 months old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 50-60 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday between 7:30am-7:30pm.
• Compensation: The family is offering $35-40/hour based on the 50-60+ hour/week schedule, equating to annualized earnings of $100,000-$145,000+/year, depending on experience
• Benefits: The family is offering benefits such as a healthcare stipend/healthcare coverage, PTO, and relocation assistance
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The family is open to providing a housing stipend or securing an off-site apartment/residence for the perfect candidate while in Atlanta, and off-site/private accommodations on a separate floor for a live-in/live-out candidate once they arrive in Miami. Private accommodations will always be available while traveling.

Daily environment:

• • A caring, values-driven family of five, and their loving labrador pup, are so excited to find a nanny to support their family! The family travels frequently both domestically and internationally for half of the year to amazing destinations, with plans to travel to Japan, Hawaii, Disneyland, and the UK in the coming year! They are excited to find a candidate who is ready for an adventure with this energetic crew, whether on a hike through the UK countryside or on a helicopter ride in Hawaii.
  • Their eldest child is homeschooled by their mom while traveling, and the candidate will be asked to assist and support her as needed. When at home in Atlanta, he attends school during the day and the role will mostly focus on partnering with mom in caring for the younger children while providing an educational bend to their day, focusing on pre-K learning.
  • These three sweet children love spending time outdoors playing sports, doing science projects, and reading books together. A nanny who can join in on the fun, while creating a structured, educational environment will be a wonderful fit for this family!

Ideal candidate:

• • This position is ideal for a candidate who is a passionate, playful, and confident career nanny who is excited to grow with a loving, active family and partner with involved parents. A candidate who strikes a balance of empathy, healthy boundaries and employs a firm-yet-fair approach with the children will be a great fit for this role! Experience with the infant through elementary age groups will be important for this position, as well as knowledge of the associated developmental milestones.
  • Someone who is educationally focused and excited to pitch in with schooling and creating educational activities for the children will be a great match. Candidates should be comfortable with child-related tidying, laundry, meal prep, and occasional errands, as well as the organization and management of children’s belongings.

Must-haves:

• • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • A valid driver’s license and passport
  • Experienced with infants and toddlers, and familiarity with the associated developmental milestones
  • Experience as a travel nanny, and an excitement to travel with the family
  • Knowledgeable and proactive with developmental stages and proactive in finding ways to be active and engaging in educational play
  • Ability and willingness to assist with common household tasks and errands
  • Bright, warm, flexible, and professional demeanor
  • Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
