A compassionate family of three based in Woodside, CA is seeking a Spanish-fluent, outdoorsy, and developmentally-minded career nanny for their 2-year-old girl and newborn baby expected this spring!
Based in a beautiful rural region of the Bay Area, this active family enjoys no shortage of outdoor hikes, camping, and exploration. They are passionate about staying environmentally friendly and have a love for animals; their home includes two dogs, two cats, and two horses! They strive to make their home a zero-waste environment. Their energetic toddler absolutely loves to play and explore in the great outdoors and attends a Pre-K program three half-days each week. She is being raised to be bilingual in both English and Spanish. The family has created an enriching environment in their home for their daughter to grow and thrive and are passionate about a positive discipline approach. This extroverted and open family are seeking a nanny who can be a playful, professional, and loving partner to their growing family as they prepare to welcome their baby this April. They truly look forward to creating a positive, balanced relationship with their nanny, and see them as an extension of their family. This position is ideal for a candidate who considers themselves a career nanny and lifelong learner with an interest and curiosity in childhood development! While the role will prioritize focusing on their infant when they arrive this spring, a strong foundation, excitement and energy to support an active toddler will be key. The family would love to collaborate with a nanny who proactively enjoys researching and implementing developmentally-minded activities throughout the day-to-day routine. Their toddler is active and energetic and thrives when working with hands-on caregivers who are excited to get outside and play alongside her! Spanish fluency is essential, along with comfortability speaking the language for the majority of the day to immerse her in the language. The family hopes to work with a nanny who has a similar enjoyment for the outdoors and mindfulness for the environment; someone who isn’t afraid of the nature around them, and is animal-friendly is key as well! Some travel can be expected in the future as it is safe to do so, and the family will be appreciative of candidates who follow COVID safety guidelines alongside them. They hope to find a candidate who is interested in committing to the role long-term and wants to become part of this family’s loving dynamic for years to come!
