A fun-loving, positive family based in Rancho Santa Fe, CA is seeking two flexible, hands-on, and supportive rotational nannies to join their team and care for their 6, 4, and 1.5-year-old children!

• Location: Rancho Santa Fe, CA
• Ages of children: 6, 4, and 1.5 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: This is a rotational position of 7 days on, 7 days off with working hours during on weeks typically falling between 7am-7pm during weekdays, and 12pm-10pm during weekends. Flexibility to adjust daily schedules, travel, and to collaborate with a co-nanny for any schedule adjustments to accommodate travel will be asked in advance and appreciated. Please note that while the family is building their rotational team, the schedule may vary for the initial few months.
• Compensation: The family is offering $30-40+/hour based on the guaranteed 84 hours/week during the on weeks, totaling an annualized compensation package in the $85-$110+k/year range dependent on experience. They are excited to build a competitive compensation and benefits package for the right candidate!
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance stipend, relocation based on the candidate’s need and the full benefits package.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The family is open to offering a monthly housing stipend or providing private and separate nanny accommodations nearby, in addition to relocation assistance for the perfect candidates.

These hands-on parents love to take time out of their day to spend with their children and caregivers, and work hard to maintain a work environment that is compassionate and collaborative while providing professionalism and autonomy to their caregivers. They are excited to build a long-term rotational nanny team who can join their home and usher their children into their school-aged years and be a part of their lives for years to come!

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for a candidate with a bright, energetic spirit when it comes to childcare, who is ready to play in the pool, run around in the yard, go on a hike, or put on a dramatic play with the kids. A nanny who can foster silliness, fun, and positivity for the children while still maintaining lovingly-set boundaries will be appreciated.
• The family is excited to work with a nanny who can continue to instill a sense of curiosity in their children and help them develop their interests and independence; knowledge of Reggio Emilia or other early childhood education experience is a big plus! With an it-takes-a-village mindset in this home, a nanny who is excited to collaborate alongside these hands-on parents will be key, as well as a step-in and step-out intuition.
• The family hopes to find someone who can combine their competency in childcare with a sense of proactiveness, who is organized and can jump in with family assisting tasks (especially while the children are in school) and adapt alongside the role as the children grow. Household support may include calendar management, transportation to/from activities, running errands, healthy meal prep, general tidying, and more.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional, full-time childcare experience
• Valid driver’s license and passport
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Confidence in caring for 3 children under 6
• Comfortable and excited to partner and collaborate with hands-on parents
• Strong swimmer and comfortable caring for children in and around water
• Flexible and able to travel with the family as needed and/or provide overnight coverage while the parents travel alone
