
This engaging New York family seeks an experienced professional nanny to provide loving, attentive, and developmentally focused care for their 10-month-old.
- Location: Scarsdale, NY and Bridgehampton, NY
- Ages of children: 10 months old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time rotational schedule of 1 week on/1 week off. The candidate will be responsible for baby monitors overnight while on rotation, and 24/7 on-call availability is required. The candidate will collaborate with a co-nanny to plan for smooth rotation handoffs and continuation of care. The family may be flexible to adjust the length of rotations based on candidate interest.
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $140-155k/year, dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience, education, and language skills.
- Benefits: The family offers health and vision insurance, 401k matching, and a vehicle for professional use, and is open to providing relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-in while on rotation. A private bedroom and bathroom within the family’s homes will be provided.
- Other Notes: The family will strongly prioritize candidates who are within, or would relocate to, or driving distance (~6 hours) of Scarsdale, NY. The family may be open to candidates who would fly in and out for their rotations for the perfect fit.

- The family splits their time between Scarsdale, NY, and the Hamptons and enjoys traveling a few weeks throughout the year, including a ski trip to Vail, a tropical getaway, and an international trip, often to Israel. A travel-ready candidate with a supportive presence and confidence in providing exceptional childcare while traveling will be a great fit! The family deeply values their Jewish beliefs and identity, and adhere to Kosher practices. They will appreciate a candidate who is respectful and culturally-minded. This fully staffed home includes house managers, caretakers, housekeepers, and a chef. A candidate who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment will be beneficial!

They seek a candidate who can provide an interactive, educationally-minded environment where activities are designed to nurture their daughter’s interests and support her overall development. A detail-oriented, hygiene/cleanliness-conscious nanny will thrive in this well-organized household. Since their homes are smart homes, a basic level of tech proficiency is required! The family values commitment and seeks a candidate who has a history of longevity in their previous roles.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate proficient in Hebrew, French, or Chinese, who has a college degree, and/or who has experience working in fully-staffed homes and with stay-at-home parents.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for infants and toddlers through the toddler age range
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
- Travel experience and willingness to travel up to 1-3 weeks per year
- Willingness to learn/adhere to family's cultural practices in the home (adhering to kosher practices)
- Comfortable preparing child-related meals or experience transitioning infants to solid
- Dog-friendly!

- Up to date on all vaccinations for the duration of employment (e.g. Tdap, MMR, TB, Flu) prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
