An outdoorsy family based in Littleton, CO is seeking a joyful, infant-savvy nanny/family assistant to join them in caring for their newborn and household!

• Location: Littleton, CO
• Ages of children: Expecting a baby this September!
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit! The family would love to find a candidate who can support them beginning in October 2022.
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Tuesday through Saturday between 8:30 am- 5:30 pm. The family looks forward to designing a schedule that works well for all parties as the role evolves.
• Compensation: The family is offering $30-35/hour based on the 40-50 hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $63-73k/year range dependent on experience and the agreed upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, dental insurance, vision insurance, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out

Household dynamic:

• These spontaneous and loving parents are very excited to welcome their first child together in September! When these busy parents aren’t working, they like to travel, mountain bike, hike, and generally be outside exploring. The family describes themselves as open-minded and enjoy finding adventure and joy where they can, whether at a campsite or a fancy hotel! They want to leave the world a better place and help others whenever possible and hope to find a nanny who can help foster their child’s growth.
• The family has a work hard, play hard approach to life! Both parents have their own businesses and value their off time off to travel and spend time together. They have a second home in Breckenridge and love to travel there and other destinations throughout the year. Mom travels for work somewhat regularly, so a candidate who is travel-ready and can support her on business trips will be appreciated! There are two older children, ages 18 and 20, who spend some time in the home and on vacation together with the family. The family adores their two cuddly, playful dogs and lazy old cat, so animal lovers should apply!

• This position is ideal for someone who is easy-going, a self-starter, nurturing, and brings an organized approach to their role! A candidate who loves to be outdoors, and is adept at supporting the childcare and household needs of new parents will thrive alongside this family as they welcome their baby. Candidates who love kids, animals, and travel will get along well with this crew!
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the baby to grow and thrive, providing holistic support to parents, baby, and household, light child-related housekeeping, family assisting duties, and errands as needed!
• While not a requirement, the family would love to meet candidates who speak Spanish!

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Comfortability in preparing basic meals
• Travel experience
• Pet friendly!
• Family assisting experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
