CLOSED - Adventure-Loving, Travel-Ready Nanny/Family Assistant Needed For Family in WY, FL + Costa Rica

An active family of four that splits their time between Florida, Wyoming, and Costa Rica is seeking a travel-ready, organized nanny and family assistant to join them in caring for their 9 and 5-year-old children!

• Location: Delray Beach, FL, Jackson Hole, WY, and Costa Rica
• Ages of children: 9 and 5 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with the general schedule consisting of 45-50+ hours/week from Tuesday through Saturday. A candidate who is open to 2-3 morning/afternoon shifts, and 2-3 afternoon/evening shifts will be appreciated (example: 7:30-5:30pm or 12pm-10pm). Flexibility for additional hours, travel, overnights, and providing family assisting support while the children are at school will be key.
• Compensation and benefits: The family is offering $35+/hr in addition to benefits including a healthcare stipend, housing and/or a housing stipend, PTO, and relocation assistance resulting in a full compensation package in the $100+k/year range for the perfect applicant.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The family is happy to offer live-in accommodations as a landing pad for the perfect relocation applicant. The family is open to sourcing private and separate housing or providing a housing stipend to support a long-term, live-out set-up in FL. Private accommodations will always be offered when traveling or staying at the family’s properties in Wyoming and Costa Rica.

• A bustling family of four and their sweet, energetic lab split their time between the beach and the mountains! These dual-career parents love to balance work and play, and are raising their children to be free thinkers and encourage hands-on, experiential learning whenever possible.
• The 5 and 9-year-old are creative, active, and adventure-loving. Both enjoy playing outdoors, doing everything from rock climbing to kite surfing! They are currently into animals and collecting critters in their backyard like spiders, hermit crabs, fish, and butterflies.
• One of their children was recently diagnosed with high functioning Autism and is equipped with a great tool kit and occupational therapy team to support them and their caregivers!
• The family travels frequently between their homes in Florida, Wyoming and Costa Rica, and someone with travel-savvy and an adventurous spirit will thrive on this team for years to come!

• A candidate who is experienced in supporting neurodiverse children and collaborating with a team of therapists and parents to ensure continuity of care.
• A hands-on candidate who helps the household thrive through assisting with healthy meal prep, household inventory management, and errands will be appreciated.
• Travel-readiness and experience is key for this position!

Must haves:

• At least 3 years of professional, full-time childcare experience
• Valid driver’s license and passport
• Experience traveling domestically and internationally both personally and with nanny families, and an excitement to see the world
• Experience working with children who are neurodiverse
• Recent, applicable experience caring for elementary-aged children
• Creative mindset and proactive approach to planning activities and adventures
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Dog friendly
• Spanish language skills are a big plus!
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws.
