Incline Village, NV | Collaborative Newborn Care Specialist Wanted For Intentional, Loving DadApply NowThis calm, intentional single dad is seeking a knowledgeable, nurturing, and perceptive Newborn Care Specialist to support his newborn and thoughtfully collaborate during the early stages of parenthood
- Location: Incline Village, NV. The family will be in Maine for the first few weeks for the baby’s delivery.
- Ages of children: Newborn due in August 2026
- Start date/Contract dates: 4-6 months beginning in mid-August - NCS to be present at delivery and assist the family with transitioning back to their home in Lake Tahoe within 4-6 weeks of birth.
- Schedule: Subject to adjustment with the NCS' agreement, but anticipating 12 weeks of 5-7 days weekly of 24-hour care and 12 weeks of 5-7 nights weekly of 12-hour overnight care. The family is open to a transitional schedule based on the NCS' recommendation and developmental milestones.
- Compensation: The family is offering a hourly rate of $55-$60, which equates to a weekly base compensation of $9,240-$10,080 during weeks of 24/7 care, and a weekly base compensation of $4,460-$5,050 during weeks of overnight care. Final contract amount is dependent on candidate experience and the agreed-upon schedule and contract length.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-in. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided.

- This warm and intentional single dad by choice is welcoming his first child, a newborn due in August 2026 via surrogacy. Dad will be home and highly involved, especially in the early months. His mom will be present as well for at least the first six weeks and intermittently thereafter, providing an additional layer of support for the family. The newborn care specialist will be present at birth in Maine and will assist with the family’s transition back to their home in Nevada within the first 4-6 weeks. During the contract, the candidate will work as part of a small, collaborative support team focused on caring for the baby and Dad during this transition, with emphasis on overnight care throughout the contract so the family can be well-rested during the day. This dad also has a very sweet, older 3.5-pound dog!

Dad is a tech entrepreneur who has intentionally stepped back from daily operations and will be on parental leave to be present and hands-on during the early months. - Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 42 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Thursday from 11:30am to 7:30pm and Friday from 8:30am to 6:30pm. Additional hours are available for candidates who are willing and flexible to work occasional later evenings and/or weekends.
- Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 42 hours/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $89-100k/year range.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a MetroCard, and a health insurance stipend.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The role is only open to candidates who are currently within a commutable distance to Williamsburg.

- This light-hearted and globally-minded NYC family with two energetic, artistic children is seeking a nanny/family assistant to support their dynamic household. Their 6-year-old son, who adores music, art, Legos, and all things creative, is in school during the week until early afternoon. On some days, he attends after-school activities like art, chess, or soccer; on other days, he has free time at the park. He is also enrolled in some sports activities, giving him space and many options for discovering his passions. Their youngest, who is nearly 3, just began attending school Monday through Thursday, and her Fridays are reserved for adventures at the library, park, and other outdoor activities. She is silly and sassy and absolutely loves to play. She will transition to a full-time school schedule in the spring. The nanny/family assistant will primarily support the children during after-school hours from 3:00pm to 7:30pm. During the school hours, the right candidate will shift gears to support the family through light family assisting responsibilities to ensure the home stays organized.
- Regularly in and out of home, both parents lead fast-paced professional lives and are committed to both their careers and family. They maintain a positive, easy-going home and are seeking a nanny who brings warmth and energy to the mix. The family enjoys traveling for a few weeks each winter, often to warm-weather destinations such as Costa Rica, Tuscany, or Los Angeles. They are currently supported by another full-time nanny and have a housekeeper who visits twice a week.

- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, and organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, and coordinating activities. Family assisting duties include unpacking groceries, laundry, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and taking out trash. Coordinating vendors and managing the family calendar, if needed, would be a huge plus.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who can travel with the family throughout the year.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and comfort supporting homework for elementary-school-aged kids
- Comfortable walking the children to and from school, as well as within the family’s home and activities.
- Family assisting or household management experience
- Willingness to perform family assistant duties
- Flexibility to stay later on occasion, with advance notice, when the family needs evening coverage
- Within commutable distance of Williamsburg, Brooklyn
- Valid passport
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
