Thoughtful Nanny/Family Assistant Needed For Active Park City, UT Family

A loving, growth-minded family of four based in beautiful Park City, UT is seeking a nanny/family assistant to join them in caring for their household and young children!

• Location: Park City, UT
• Ages of children: 3 and 7 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 11am to 7pm or similar. Candidates can anticipate flexing up to 50+ hours during weeks while the children are home from school! Flexibility will be asked in advance and appreciated.
• Compensation: The family is offering $35+/hour based on the 40-50 hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $73+k/year dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a housing stipend, and relocation assistance. A vehicle will be provided for professional use.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live out. The family is happy to provide an $800/month housing stipend for relocation candidates and to help a candidate secure accommodations if they are not already local to Park City!

Their two boys, 3 and 7 years old, are described by their parents as being sweet, intelligent, and playful. Both children attend school during the week- their 3-year-old attends preschool from 8:30-3pm and their 7-year-old attends first grade 8;30-3pm. Whether they’re hitting the slopes or local trails, at home with popcorn and a movie, or trying a new restaurant, this family loves to play, laugh, and relax together. The family also has a beloved hypoallergenic dog, who just so happens to share a birthday with their eldest child!
• During the week, these dual-career parents stay on schedule and organized in their routines and look forward to finding a candidate who can join them. Travel is a big part of their lives and they love visiting places with warm weather and good food. From Hawaii to Mexico to New York, they travel around traditional school breaks and would enjoy having their nanny along on their travels!

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for someone who is nurturing, fun, and excited to be a valued member of a warm family team! Candidates who are excited to support both children and the household will excel in this role. The family loves working with candidates who feel like a true part of the family.
• On a typical day, the ideal candidate is able to provide family assisting support such as tidying, family-related errands, kid’s laundry, and healthy meal preparation during the morning hours. In the afternoon, the candidate will focus on childcare, facilitating pickups and extracurriculars, prepping dinner, and evening routines. Additional support will include date night coverage, evening events, morning and full daytime coverage when the kids are on early dismissal or days off from school, and the potential for a weekend day or travel, with advanced notice. Above all, a pitch-in, collaborative, and professional spirit will be essential in this fun-loving, welcoming household!
• While not a requirement, the family would love to work with a candidate who loves to cook and can prepare healthy meals for the whole family or speaks a second language!

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Family assisting experience
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving in winter conditions
• Valid passport
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to the start date in accordance with applicable laws
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Dog friendly! Willing to support light pet care
