A Bay Area family team is seeking rotational nanny/family assistants to join them in caring for their children!
- Location: Woodside, CA
- Ages of children: Almost 2, and twins who will be 1 in September!
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule:
- Schedule A: Full-time, rotational schedule of 7 days on/ 7 days off. Candidates can anticipate working 7am-7pm, or similar while on rotation. Flexibility in rotation length will be essential during periods of extensive travel! The family is seeking 1-2 rotational nannies for this position.
- Schedule B: Full-time, rotational schedule of 7 days on/7 days off. Candidates can anticipate working 7pm-7am, or similar, while on rotation. Flexibility in rotation length will be essential during periods of extensive travel! The family is seeking 2 rotational nannies for this position.
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $184,275/year, dependent on the candidate’s experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing full benefits after 30 days of employment, including fully paid health insurance, a 401k, and relocation assistance.
- Live-in/Live-out: The family will provide accommodations during work weeks. Live out when not on rotation. The family is open to fly-in/out candidates.
Household Dynamic:
- This warm, child-centered family has an almost two-year-old, and they welcomed twins this past fall. They are excited to have extra hands on deck to help care for their three children! They have a supportive family team and are seeking two daytime and two nighttime rotational nannies to join their crew.
- This fully-staffed home includes co-nannies, a household manager, a chief of staff, housekeepers, and a handyman. Working well in a team and alongside co-nannies and parents is essential. Both parents are involved and hands-on, so someone confident stepping into household duties while parents are with the children will be key. Candidates must be pet-friendly! They travel frequently and have other residences in the US, and they look forward to having their nannies join them for up to 3 weeks at a time as needed. Flexibility to support travel will be essential in this role.

- Childcare responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting responsibilities including assisting with errands and grocery shopping, vendor coordination, general household organization, and more (as time permits).
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has fully-staffed home experience or speaks Hindi.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional childcare experience – dedicated career nannies are preferred
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers and beyond
- Experience working with a team
- Comfortable working with multiple kids
- Experience working with twins is a plus
- Valid passport
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable pitching in with family assisting tasks
- Experience traveling with families and children
- Pet friendly!
- Up to date on all vaccinations for the duration of employment (e.g. COVID, Tdap, MMR, TB, Flu)
