CLOSED - ROTA Nanny/Family Assistant Needed For Inviting San Francisco Family

An inviting and down-to-earth family of four is seeking a professional, collaborative rotational nanny/family assistant to join them and their family’s team in caring for their 6-year-old and 4-year-old children!

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Ages of children: 4 and 6 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 1 week on, 1 week off. Candidates can expect to work a 12-hour day during rotations.
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $110-130k/year dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, paid leave, a public transportation pass, and retirement benefits. The family is happy to provide a vehicle for professional use.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. The family is happy to provide a temporary landing pad if a candidate is relocating for the role.

Whether working from home in San Francisco or traveling both internationally and around the country to locations like Northern California, Hawaii, and Montana, they enjoy an adventurous and active life together and see their nannies as an integral part of their family team. They are excited to find a nanny who can complement their existing Adventure Nanny of almost 5 years!
• Their kind and curious 4-year-old and 6-year-old children love playing outside and create a fun environment wherever they go. Their eldest attends school full-time during the week, and their youngest attends school on weekday mornings. Empowering their children to be themselves and building a foundation of strong emotional intelligence and a vocabulary around that is important to this family, and they hope to find a candidate who shares this with them! This is a dual-career family, and one parent works from home while the other works outside of the home.

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for a self-driven and travel-ready career nanny and family assistant who is excited to grow with this family for years to come! Candidates with recent and applicable preschool through elementary-age experience, travel nanny experience, and a passion for cooking healthy kid-friendly meals that introduce new flavors will be a great fit. Someone who is a team player and can proactively jump in on family assisting duties will be key while the kids are in school. This family values having an enthusiastic and driven team who are excited to show their children the world, and a candidate who possesses these traits will thrive in this long-term role.
• Nanny responsibilities include child-related housekeeping, supporting the children’s routines and schedules, and traveling frequently with the family. A step-in and step-out intuition will be appreciated as the nanny collaborates and partners with these loving and involved parents. Family assisting responsibilities include running errands, pet care (walking the dog, vet appointments), grocery shopping and family meal prep (chopping and preparing ingredients), and family research projects

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• At least 3 years of professional, full-time childcare experience
• Dog friendly! Willing to assist with pet care
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to the start date in accordance with applicable laws
