Household dynamic:
- This loving and dynamic family recently moved from NYC to Miami and they’re very excited to settle into their home while transitioning to a rotational nanny schedule for the first time! They have two daughters, each with distinct personalities. Their 5-year-old is mature for her age, described by her parents as a girlie girl who is extremely talkative, thoughtful, and creative (with a silly streak). Their 1.5-year-old is extremely active and energetic and prefers to always be moving, keeping them on their toes. These hands-on parents like to get up with the kids in the morning, put them to bed at night, and take them to activities when their schedules allow.
- These dual-career parents lead busy professional lives that include frequent business travel. Despite their schedules, they prioritize spending quality time with their children. They spend summers in Aspen and will return to Miami in mid-August. Candidates can anticipate joining the family in Aspen each year. They appreciate open communication and organization to keep their household running smoothly.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of childhood development and possesses excellent communication skills with children and families. A professional, passionate candidate, who can patiently navigate big personalities and emotions, and helps nurture well-rounded, thoughtful, and happy kids will be treasured! The family looks forward to working with a nanny team that is assertive and engaged when it comes to planning play dates and activities and finding fun and active ways to keep the kids engaged both indoors and out.
- The role is child-focused. Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive. Child-related household tasks include but are not limited to, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, coordinating activities, and light travel with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish.

- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Valid driver’s license + passport
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
- Knowledge and experience with pre-school and early elementary
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
