Closed
East Coast

A dynamic and fun-loving family is seeking a reliable and travel-ready nanny to join them in caring for their children for a 3+ month contract, with the option to extend for the right fit!

  • Location: Concord, New Hampshire
  • Ages of children: 15 months old, and a new baby due in November
  • Contract dates: Beginning ASAP for a 3-month contract with the possibility of extending into a long-term role.
  • Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday. Candidates can expect to work 8-hour shifts with the potential for overtime. Flexibility to provide occasional overnight and weekend coverage and to travel with the family for extended periods throughout the year will be essential.
  • Compensation: The family is offering $35-40/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to a base contract compensation of $16,800. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits: The family will provide paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
  • Live-in/Live-out: Live-in. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided, and the candidate will have a choice between two bedrooms.

Household dynamic:

  • This warm and active New Hampshire-based family is excited to work with a responsible and adventurous nanny. Their 15-month-old son is described by his family as being incredibly smart, interactive, and full of energy! He is walking, talking, learning to read, and exploring! The family is also excited to welcome their second child this November. A candidate who can actively engage with both kids and create a loving and developmentally supportive environment for the kids will be a great fit! They also have a beloved pet — a lively and friendly dog. Someone who is pet-friendly and comfortable in supporting light-pet care will be appreciated.
  • This is a dual-career household where both parents work as traveling, contract-based health providers. They work 3-6 months in each location before being assigned to a new destination. With the new baby coming soon, the family expects to stay in New Hampshire until September 2025. Mom will be on parental leave for most of the contract duration, but will appreciate a candidate who can tag team and occasionally care for both children. The family cherishes spending quality time together and engaging in outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, sailing, and exploring new places. They enjoy taking sailboat tours during summer and would love a candidate to join them. A candidate who is travel-ready and eager to support the family through their exciting and ever-evolving adventures will fit in! The family values someone who prioritizes health and is committed to maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for someone adaptable, responsible, and genuinely excited about supporting a busy toddler and an infant. A passion for child development, the ability to plan engaging educational activities, and confidence in caring for an infant and toddler are essential. The ideal candidate values a health-oriented lifestyle, is organized to help balance household tasks, and communicates effectively to collaborate with parents.
  • Responsibilities include creating a safe and loving environment for the children to grow and thrive. This includes, but is not limited to meal prep for the toddler, bottle prep and cleaning for the baby, tidying, organizing of children’s areas and common areas, occasional errands, grocery shopping, pet care, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with an early education background and/or Bachelor’s degree or higher and someone who speaks Spanish/French, or any other language.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for infants and toddlers
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
  • Pet friendly! Willing to support light pet care
  • Up to date on all vaccinations for the duration of employment (specifically Tdap and Flu)
