CLOSED - Playful, Proactive, Toddler-Savvy Nanny Needed for Spirited Seattle-Area Family

A warm, vibrant family in the Seattle area is seeking an adventurous and fun-loving nanny to join them in caring for their toddler and preschool-aged children!

• Location: Seattle’s East Side
• Ages of children: Toddler and preschool-aged
• Start date/Contract dates: December 2022 or as soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm or 11 am to 7 pm, dependent on candidate preference!
• Compensation: The family is offering $35-40/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $73-83k/year range dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance based on the candidate’s need and the full benefits package. The family will provide a vehicle for the nanny to use while on duty.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out

• This lively, active family describes their home as loud, hilarious, and busy! They are excited to meet an outdoorsy nanny who can care for their toddler and preschool-aged children, Their preschooler attends school for half-days during the week so daytime hours will be focused on caring for their toddler. They also have a sweet hypoallergenic dog, so pet friendliness is key!
• These dual-career parents work both in and out of the home and are excited to work with a candidate who brings a balance of independence and collaboration to their role. The family frequently travels around traditional school breaks or for long weekends. They hope to travel to Europe and Mexico next summer and look forward to bringing their nanny along. A co-nanny and housekeeper are also a part of the family’s staff, so someone who is enthusiastic about a busy household with many moving parts will love the energy in their home!

• Responsibilities include creating a playful and engaging environment, child-related housekeeping, light children’s meal prep, and laundry, collaborating with parents and co-nanny, traveling with the family occasionally, and occasionally lending a hand with errands or family assisting duties!
• The family is excited to add to their team, and would love to work with a nanny who is creative and has a knack for finding clever tricks for entertaining toddlers!

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport
• Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Dog friendly! Willing to support light pet care.
