Placement Manager at Adventure Nannies

Adventure Nannies is a nationwide private recruitment firm that helps families' big and busy lives run smoothly by guiding them through the process of hiring and onboarding nannies, private educators, and newborn care specialists. We change families' lives by giving them permission to set a higher bar for the lifestyles they can give their kids and themselves by raising the bar on what can be expected from a nanny or childcare provider. We are a fully remote team that connects in person 1-2 times a year with employees in Colorado, Washington, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Mission Statement
The Placement Manager oversees all aspects of an active search load of 8-10 searches at a time from the client and candidate perspective, including the initial sales call, candidate recruitment, search health, and all candidate and client communications from presentation through final hire. This position requires a deep understanding of communicating with families who value privacy, respect, diversity and equity, and adventure in all shapes and sizes. Exceptional communication, time management, remote collaboration, emotional intelligence, and organizational skills are all pivotal to any individual seeking this role!
Key Competencies Required
- Technical skills. Knowledge and ability of Adventure Nannies' platforms and the ability to perform, train, course-correct, and make improvements to all client-facing processes and documents.
- Dynamic, Respectful Communication. Teaches and models respectful communication within internal staff and to all clients and candidates our team interacts with, both in one-on-one communication and in templated or external-facing communication.

Ability to participate in high-level, high-stakes discussions with the leadership team and search director by setting the tone with a focus on how tasks can be accomplished with the obstacles and opportunities in play. You proactively seek opportunities to improve our processes and share your findings, ideas, struggles, and successes with the placement team.
- Autonomy. Demonstrates autonomy throughout all tasks, looping in the Search Director as needed for strategic guidance on maintaining search success. Ensures all deliverables are received by both client and candidate and works ethically to ensure search milestones are met and communicated.
- Responsibility. Strong sense of responsibility for the vetting process and its role in protecting our clients and our business, as well as the recruitment process and our.
- Results-driven. Strong understanding of individual and team KPIs and investment in short-term and long-term goals to implement that vision. Commitment and drive towards helping make families' and candidates' dreams come true and advocating equally for both parties.
- Collaboration. Working closely with other departments surrounding recruitment and placement strategy and high-stakes communications. Being held accountable for documenting all communications and being a productive and positive teammate.
- Ownership. Taking full ownership and accountability of your role and your team's processes, successes, challenges, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators.)
Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Placement Director.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, salaried position with four full work days Monday through Thursday and a half-day on Fridays. Our general office hours are 9 am to 5 pm in each team member's respective time zone. Working hours will be discussed and agreed upon hire based on the candidate's time zone and the needs of our clients. Additional client communication outside of working hours will be scheduled at your discretion.
Compensation:
$55,000 base salary, as well as additional bonuses for each completed search after a 60-day training period and profit-sharing bonuses based on KPIs paid out in December for an estimated annual base compensation of $70-$90k+ during your first year of employment.
