- Location: Scarsdale, NY

- Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the perfect fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the schedule falling on Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 9am and 5pm or similar. The family looks forward to creating a mutually beneficial schedule alongside the candidate.
- Compensation: The family is offering $40-50/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $83-104k/year range.

- This loving, silly, and fun family has two intelligent and spirited girls and a friendly dog who bring joy and laughter to their home. Their eldest is an avid reader and enjoys playing piano, creative writing, and various sports, including football, martial arts, fencing, and soccer. She is described by her parents as exuding spunk and individuality. Their youngest can start out reserved but quickly warms up and is described as having a sweet, cheerful, and gregarious demeanor. She enjoys pretend play, reading, and quality time with her family. Both girls are in school full-time until summer break. The family looks forward to working with an organized and proactive house manage/nanny who can keep their lives running smoothly!
- Both parents are in and out of the home regularly, with one parent working from a home office. They appreciate an organized and structured environment in their home. This staffed home includes a housekeeper, a property manager, and a chef. They hope for this person to be excited to join them on occasional travel to destinations like Europe, the Caribbean, and for ski weekends in Vermont.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a self-starter with a strong intuition for anticipating daily needs. The candidate should excel in working independently to complete tasks such as meal planning, coordinating travel arrangements, managing and scheduling vendors, and various other household responsibilities. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, and someone who is excited to help with childcare once a week as needed will be a wonderful fit. This family values working with team members who take initiative, demonstrate good judgment, and are receptive to feedback.
- Responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the household, including but not limited to anticipating and fulfilling daily needs, assisting with meal planning, grocery shopping, coordinating with the chef as needed, organizing and maintaining household inventories and overseeing various household tasks, helping with travel planning, packing, and coordinating logistics for family trips, providing occasional childcare, and collaborating with other household staff.
- While not a requirement for this role, the family would love to work with candidates with previous house management and/or family assisting experience.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Knowledge and experience with elementary school-age children
- Recent family assisting experience
- Dog friendly! Willing to support light pet care.
- Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
