Household dynamic:

  • This bustling and loving family has four active daughters ranging in age from 2 to 9 years old. All four children attend an international school in Boston and enjoy after-school activities such as school clubs, soccer, swimming, dance, and piano. Each child has their own unique personality that the parents celebrate and nurture. The oldest is incredibly bright, you'll soon forget she is only in third grade. Their secondborn is their resident artist, her work is hung on the walls of the home and passes for professional art. The thirdborn daughter is equal parts intelligent, cuddly, goofy, and has loads of creativity. And the youngest daughter is a bruiser. She is somewhat fearless in her gross motor endeavors and loves spinning, swings, slides, scooters, and obstacle courses. The family looks forward to working with a nanny who has tenderness and familiarity with anxiety and sensory challenges to help support the daily dynamic. In addition to their four children, this family has two very chatty and friendly Bengal cats.
  • These dual-career parents are in and out of the home regularly and are excited to work with a reliable and organized family assistant/nanny to help manage their busy and loving household. The family is excited to begin traveling more frequently in 2023 and would love to meet a nanny who would like to travel with them to destinations both domestically and internationally.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for someone who is professional and kind and who can hit the ground running each day and manage schedules with ease. Someone who is naturally very organized and tidy and who will feel empowered to rotate toys/art supplies and stay on top of clutter will be appreciated! A candidate who has a good sense of humor and who can lovingly and confidently navigate moments of emotional stimulation with the kids and set appropriate boundaries without getting flustered will thrive. While not required for this role, a candidate who has familiarity with sensory issues, anxiety, and dyslexia/dyscalculia will be appreciated!
  • Responsibilities include providing a warm, consistent, and fun environment for the children to grow and thrive! This includes, but is not limited to, driving the kids to and from activities, patiently and kindly supporting the children with their homework, encouraging them to practice piano, and playing with them! While the children are in school the family would love help with tidying, grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry, and other household errands and tasks as needed. Someone who is happy to pitch in, and has a “see a need, fill a need” mentality will be valued.
  • This family is excited to work with a family assistant/nanny who is a confident and safe city driver and who is eager to travel with them both domestically and internationally!
