Household dynamic:

  • These easygoing and respectful first-time parents are excited to welcome their first child in July. They are looking for a nanny who reflects their organized and active lifestyle and can become a long-term part of their family, contributing to a nurturing and vibrant home environment.
  • Given both parents’ frequent work-related travel, they are seeking a nanny who is comfortable providing overnight support to align with their bustling schedules. Their mini Labradoodle (who attends doggy daycare daily) and the support of a weekly housekeeper complete a lively and orderly home that the nanny will be an integral part of. The candidate won’t be expected to provide pet care, but they should be dog-friendly!

Ideal candidate:

  • The ideal candidate is an experienced infant nanny who thrives in a vibrant, organized household. A proactive organizer who seamlessly oscillates between the needs of a newborn and the broader family dynamic will be valued. This family hopes for a long-term partner who can guide the first-time parents while also knowing when to follow the parent’s lead. When not caring for the baby, the family will appreciate a candidate who can embrace family assisting duties while fostering a nurturing environment for growth.
  • Responsibilities will include creating a safe and loving environment for the children to grow and thrive. Child-related tasks include prepping and sanitizing bottles, baby’s laundry, tidying the nursery, supporting daily routines, occasional errands, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. When not caring for the children, family assisting tasks could include grocery shopping, meal prep, basic cooking for the whole family, and the occasional errand to pick up packages or dry cleaning.
  • While not a requirement for this role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has family assisting experience.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for infants and toddlers
  • Comfortable preparing basic meals for the whole family
  • Pet friendly!
  • Valid driver’s license
