Household dynamic:

  • These easygoing parents are enjoying their new roles as mom and dad, and are excited to welcome a nanny to help them care for and nurture the development of their son. At 3 months old, their son’s main interests are eating, sleeping, and experiencing the world around him! The family hopes to foster a supportive, warm, and mutually-beneficial working environment, and they look forward to working with a nanny who is excited about a long-term relationship.
  • Based in the heart of San Francisco, there is plenty to explore within walking distance. Mom and dad love classical music and enjoy going to the symphony and opera when they’re able. As dual-career parents, they also work in a hybrid model and spend the majority of their days working from their home office so it’s important that their nanny is comfortable with this working dynamic.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for someone who loves nurturing the growth and development of infants and who enjoys all the ways to engage a baby’s developing mind! Someone who has recent experience working with infants and toddlers, who is self-sufficient, and who enjoys creating an organized, safe, and structured environment will be a great fit for this role. Open communication and collaboration with the parents will be key as the baby grows and changes in the coming months and years.
  • A candidate who is extremely responsible, has a high level of care and awareness, and can build an authentic connection with the baby will thrive in this position. Responsibilities include creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the baby, managing sleep schedules, light children’s meal preparation (in coming months), and child-related housekeeping and laundry.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Recent infant and toddler experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
  • Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
