A warm, playful CA-based family is seeking a creative, learning-oriented nanny to join them in caring for their children!
- Location: Tiburon, Marin, California
- Ages of children: 3 and 5 years old
- Start date: As soon as we find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 45 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 7pm or similar. The family is happy to guarantee one full weekend off per month. Flexibility for overnights and travel will be asked for in advance and appreciated!
- Compensation: The family is offering $40-50+/hour based on the 45-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $99-124+k/year range. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.

Household dynamic:
- This close-knit family of four is seeking a creative and independent nanny/family assistant to join them in caring for their two loving children! At 3 and 5 years old, they describe their kids as being each other’s best friends! They both attend school during the weekdays. The oldest is interested in reading and art, while the younger brother enjoys running around, and helping out in the kitchen. They both love playing games, building Legos, reading books, and spending time at the beach or riding their bikes. A candidate who can thoughtfully organize interactive activities, and actively engage the children’s curiosity and sense of adventure will be a great fit! The family is planning to welcome a non-allergenic dog into their home this spring, someone who is comfortable around pets is important.
- One parent works in the office, while the other is regularly in and out of the home throughout the day. The family likes to get outside, and the parents love to ski, surf, and run around the neighborhood! They enjoy traveling to their home in Montana during the summer and winter months, as well as going on exciting trips to locations like Cape Cod. Someone adaptable and experienced in providing support to families while traveling is essential.

- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, managing after-school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include grocery shopping and other errands, managing the family calendar, organizing projects, and helping to plan family trips.
- While not a requirement, the family would love to work with a candidate with an educational background!
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental preschool through early elementary-age children
- Family assisting experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Travel experience
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
- Pet friendly!
