- Location: Palo Alto, CA
- Ages of children: 6 and 4 years old
- Start date: As soon as they find the perfect fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-45 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Mondays through Thursdays between the hours of 8am and 6pm and Fridays between the hours of 12pm and 6pm.
- Compensation: The family is offering $55-60/hour based on the 40-45 hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $114-148k/year range dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. A housing stipend may be available for the perfect applicant.

- Overall, the family deeply values togetherness and spending as much time as possible with one another, from cooking meals together to hiking to exploring the city. Travel is a fun part of their lives, so they would love to meet someone excited about the opportunity to join them for 6-8 weeks each year. Traveling with the family is not mandatory, and they are open to discussing travel responsibilities with their ideal candidate!

Someone who shares curiosity about the world and is eager to find fun and educational ways to enrich the family’s life will go far in this role.
- Comfortability managing both children at the same time will be key in this role. A candidate who can contribute to keeping the household running smoothly and be a wonderful childcare provider is essential! Alongside time with the children, responsibilities include sourcing and planning educational activities for their children, supporting household management duties, child-related tidying and organization, and light meal preparation. The family has a dog at home, and pitching in with pet care is appreciated.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional, full-time childcare or teaching experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
- Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
- Educationally minded with a background in child development/education is a plus
- Comfortable with outdoor activities and adventures
- Dog-friendly! Willing to assist with pet care
