This warm, close-knit Upper East Side family is seeking an engaging and collaborative nanny to join the team!
- Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan, New York
- Ages of children: 5, 8, and 10 years old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm. Flexibility for extended date night coverage one night per week will be appreciated!
- Compensation: The family is offering $45-55/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $94-114k/year range.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing generous paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a public transportation pass, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Flexible to live-in or live-out. If live-in, the family will provide a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette on the garden level of their home.

- This warm and dynamic Manhattan family is seeking a reliable and communicative nanny to care for their children! They have three lovely daughters, aged 5, 8, and 10, who all attend school during the day. The girls enjoy dancing, singing, gymnastics, swimming, skiing, reading, and arts and crafts. The family is excited to work with a confident candidate who can help the children develop their independence and navigate the world as they grow older.
- This is a dual-career home where both parents work mainly outside the home with occasional work-from-home days. The family appreciates someone with a team-oriented and positive attitude who can work harmoniously with other household members and staff, including a weekend nanny, a housekeeper, and a cook. The family deeply values their team and has a history of longevity in their home, and they look forward to fostering a long-lasting relationship with their new nanny, too!
Ideal Candidate:
- This position is ideal for an organized, bright, and educationally-minded nanny who is passionate about caring for three spirited daughters! A candidate who can create a nurturing environment while supporting the children’s individual needs through interactive and enriching activities will be a wonderful addition. The family fosters a supportive and inclusive environment at home and will value a candidate with a step-in/step-out intuition and “pitch-in” mentality.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family occasionally. The nanny will be responsible for managing the children’s daily routines and assisting with their after-school activities, including helping with their homework, evening organization, and getting the girls to and from activities. Someone who can jump in with occasional family assisting duties as time allows will be helpful.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree or an excitement to grow into a household manager role.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with early and upper elementary, elementary, or high school-age children
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
- Comfortability in preparing basic meals
- Experience traveling with families and children
- Valid passport
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
