A loving and playful family in NYC is seeking a proactive and engaging temporary nanny to help care for their two children for a 2+ month contract!
- Location: Manhattan, New York, NY
- Ages of children: 4 and 2 years old
- Start date/Contract dates: ASAP - mid-March
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-60 hours per week with the general schedule falling between 7 am and 7 pm. The family looks forward to designing a weekly schedule that works well for all parties, and are happy to work with candidates who are seeking to work less/more hours!
- Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 40-60 hours/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $16,000-37,800k/year dependent on the 10-12 week contract, depending on the agreed upon schedule and commensurate with candidate experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing a MetroCard.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-in or live-out. For live-in candidates, the family is happy to provide a private bedroom and bathroom within their apartment.

- Both parents are in and out of the home regularly and they also employ full-time and part-time nannies who share in Monday-Friday childcare, a housekeeper, and a private chef.

- This position is ideal for someone who loves working with toddlers and preschool-aged children! A candidate who is engaging, proactive, and developmentally minded will be valued. These parents hope to work with a nanny who will plan fun and age-appropriate activities and be able to keep up with two busy toddlers. A team-oriented candidate will be appreciated as the candidate can expect to collaborate regularly with the parents and a co-nanny.
- Responsibilities include creating a safe and loving environment for the children to grow and thrive. This includes but is not limited to supporting weekend routines, engaging with the children in creative ways, child-related vegetarian meal prep and clean up, child-related household tidying, and pitching in where needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers and preschool-aged children
- Up to date on all vaccinations for the duration of employment (e.g. COVID-19, Tdap, MMR, TB, Flu) prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
