CLOSED - Collaborative, Spanish-Speaking Nanny Needed For Active + Social Denver Family

A dynamic, organized CO-based family is seeking a calm, and responsible nanny to join them in caring for their children!

• Location: Cherry Creek, Denver, CO
• Ages of children: 2 years old, and 3 months old
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 45 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
• Compensation: The family is offering $35-40/hour based on the 45-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation range of $86k-99k/year. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, and a housing stipend.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out
• Other Notes: As the family does not have a nanny vehicle, using a personal vehicle in this role will be key. The family is happy to reimburse for mileage and offset insurance costs.

• This friendly, and organized CO-based family is seeking a patient, and nurturing nanny to join them in caring for their two loving children! At 2 years old, their oldest attends Montessori school on weekday afternoons. They welcomed a sweet baby to the family this summer, and look forward to finding someone who can join them in caring for both children but focus on the baby when the older child is at school! Someone who can create developmentally engaging activities is essential. The family looks forward to meeting a candidate who speaks Spanish fluently and can help support their children’s linguistic development by creating an immersive language environment!
• Dad works outside the home, while Mom stays home during the day. The family will appreciate someone collaborative and confident who can create a loving environment to foster their children’s independence. They occasionally go on trips, and though not required, would welcome a candidate to join them if desired. The family fosters a positive and supportive working environment in their home, so someone who can work alongside parents and other staff, including housekeepers, is essential!

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for someone who has a calm and patient demeanor and is a consistent presence for children. A candidate who genuinely connects with kids, and proactively engages the children in fun, developmentally appropriate activities will fit right in! Someone who can curate enriching experiences and activities, whether going on a walk, exploring the outdoors, or engaging in creative play will be a great fit! A nanny who can step in and support the household while demonstrating effective communication and professionalism is important. The family is seeking someone who can confidently care for both an infant and a toddler in the same role and has previous experience doing so.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, and coordinating activities. A willingness to pitch in with vendor management or help with family laundry and meal prep will be appreciated.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with Montessori knowledge and experience or a formal education background!

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for infants and toddlers
• Spanish language fluency
• Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
• Valid driver’s license
• Standard Vaccinations
