CLOSED - Calm + Team-Minded Rotational Nanny Needed for Fun Miami Family

A go-with-the-flow Miami family is seeking an all-hands-on-deck rotational nanny to join their team!

• Location: Coral Gables, FL (West Miami)
• Ages of children: 6, 5, 2, and 1 years old
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 1 week on/1 week off. Candidates can expect to provide 24/7 coverage while on duty. Flexibility for travel during the rotation and occasional fluctuations in schedule will be key for the right candidate!
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $110k/year dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including a health insurance stipend, a cell phone stipend, and annual performance-based bonuses. A vehicle will be provided for professional use as needed.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-in on duty. Candidates will be provided a private bedroom and ensuite bathroom in the family's home. The family is not open to fly-in/fly-out candidates at this time.

Household dynamic:

• This warm, laid-back family is seeking a rotational nanny to join them in caring for their children. With four kids at home, ranging in age from 1-6 years old, they have a bustling home dynamic and seek to work with a nanny who can support many moving pieces. Their three eldest children attend school. During the day, someone will support sensory play and spend time outdoors with their 1-year-old, and once the older kids get home from school, getting out energy and completing homework is key!
• They like to spend time together as a family on the weekends, whether splashing in the pool or having a dance party. Someone excited about the family’s energetic and active lifestyle will be a perfect fit! These hands-on parents love spending time with their kids and are collaborators in the day-to-day schedule. Both parents travel frequently for work, and the family enjoys traveling to sandy locations like the Bahamas, the Hamptons, and St. Thomas. They seek to foster a professional, warm working relationship with their staff, which includes another rotational nanny, a nanny/housekeeper, and a chef.

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for a flexible team player who enjoys an energetic home environment! A candidate who is experienced with the children’s age groups and the associated developmental milestones will be essential. A candidate who balances fun and routine, and brings an even-keeled/calm approach to each day will be a wonderful addition to their team. Someone intuitive and observant to a family’s needs, with a problem-solving approach and a see-a-need, fill-a-need approach to care will thrive!
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to reheating and preparing basic meals, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with the infant through early elementary age groups
• Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
• Travel experience
• Comfortable working on a boat
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• Experience caring for multiple children in a role
