A loving and driven Upper East Side family is seeking a warm and communicative nanny to help care for their pre-teen daughters!
- Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan
- Ages of children: 8 and 10 years old
- Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm. Flexibility to work different hours if the kids are out of school will be appreciated.
- Compensation: The family is offering $50/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $104k/year range.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, access to a driver in NYC, and a vehicle for professional use when in the Hamptons.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out.

- This organized and thoughtful UES family is seeking an experienced, educationally-minded nanny to join their team! They have two creative, spirited daughters who attend school during the day and stay engaged by attending art, dance, piano, and theater classes. A candidate who loves education and/or the arts will be a great fit! The family also has two beloved dogs, so someone who loves pets will be key! The dogs are in doggy day camp during the day, and the family is hopeful for a candidate who would not mind feeding them dinner and taking them for a short evening walk.
- This is a dual-career home, and both parents prioritize enriching, memory-making family time as often as they are able. They enjoy seaside escapes such as the Hamptons and Long Island, and hope to have their nanny join them a few times each summer. This tight-knit family values a candidate who is warm, confident, and collaborative in supporting the children! The family appreciates someone with a nurturing and positive attitude who can work harmoniously with other household members and staff, including an executive assistant, driver, and housekeeper. The ability to communicate effectively and relay needs is essential.

- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, light pet care, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, homework help, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family occasionally. Someone who can jump in with occasional family assisting duties as time allows will be helpful.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has an educational or arts background, or previous experience working in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with pre-teen age children
- Dog friendly and willing to support light pet care
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
- Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
